Não sei se é porque assisto mais conteúdo de br, mas tenho a impressão que eles têm mais dificuldade que o normal pra falar línguas estrangeiras. Outros povos, mesmo com sotaques carregados e cometendo alguns erros gramaticais, ainda conseguem falar de forma inteligível. O br parece depender demais de forças de expressão e figuras de linguagem pra se expressar, não entender que elas não são universais, e não conseguir substituir a expressão por um equivalente literal para fazer sentido na outra língua
Um dos meus guilty pleasures é assistir br chimpa falando inglês quebrado e cometendo gafes nível "for a phil" (tava tentando dizer "por um fio", meteu um "fio" em português no meio, e a expressão seria "hanging by a thread" mas do jeito que ele construiu a frase nem se ele usasse a expressão certa teria feito sentido)
