ALLATRA took part in the 🇺🇳UN Conference on Biodiversity (COP16) in Colombia, presenting analytical data on the causes of climate change and global solutions.
🌐 As part of its involvement in the COP16 “Green Zone” academic space, volunteers from the ALLATRA IPM hosted a conference titled “Climate Change and the 24,000-Year Cycle” and presented a specially prepared documentary titled Climate Crisis and Ocean Pollution: Global Challenges and Solutions.
📍A video address was also delivered by national security expert, ALLATRA representative, and particle physicist Dr. Egon Cholakian. He urged the global community to move from discussing the realities of the acute climate crisis to taking practical actions, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing climate and geodynamic challenges, “We must set aside the political and economic disputes that divide us and focus on the climate agenda which should become an absolute imperative.”
🌐 In the official COP16 “Blue Zone,” ALLATRA delegates participated in a virtual exhibit, where they presented documentary materials from the conference as well as the Report on the Progression of Climate Disasters on Earth and Their Catastrophic Consequences. These materials were provided to key COP16 participants, including ministers and representatives from over 20 countries (Bhutan, Brazil, Nigeria, Cameroon, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Jamaica, Guinea, Honduras, Ecuador, Germany, New Zealand, South Korea, El Salvador, Vanuatu, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Switzerland, China, Colombia, Japan, Canada, Peru, Bolivia, India, Saudi Arabia).
