We are delighted to introduce our four new lay pastors who were appointed on 5 Jan 2025: Ps Kristen Chua (Prayer Ministry), Ps Ernest Lim Kwoon Yong (Missions), Ps Indra Darmawan (Missions), and
Ps Jian An (BPJ Hokkien Ministry).

With open hearts and spirit of unity, let us support and encourage them as they seek to advance God’s Kingdom on earth, and obey God’s will in their lives and respective ministries. May they trust the Lord for all wisdom, strength and skill as they embark on this sacrificial service, reflecting the beauty of Jesus as they serve Him!

On the first day of 2025, we will gather at our respective centres for our New Year Prayer. We will take time to consecrate ourselves before the Lord, that we may go ALL IN for Him and His Kingdom in the year ahead!

The October Centre Prayer & Praise begins our Disciple the Nations Prayer Season. This is the season to turn our hearts towards the nations. Let’s bring the burdens the Lord has laid upon our hearts and lift them in prayer.

This coming Sunday is our Step-Up Sunday! This is the time for us to step up to serve in various ministries.

What does it mean for us as a church family? This is an opportunity for all of us to help build the church by serving one another. And as we do, we also grow as disciples of Christ.

Seek God where is He calling you to serve in this season of your life. Visit the ministry booths at the foyer this Sunday to learn about the roles you can serve in.

This year is Covenant EFC’s 46th anniversary!

We will gather at Singapore EXPO Hall 1 on 1 Sep 2024 to worship and remember God’s faithfulness. This year’s theme is “One Heart” — different generations worshipping in multiple centres, yet having one heart for Jesus!

Doors will open at 9am and service will start from 9.45am to 12.00pm. Please come early as it will take time to enter the hall and get seated.

For parents, please note that a kids’ activity booklet will be given to the kids on the day itself. We encourage all kids to bring along pen, coloured pencils and erasers.

There will be no livestream of the service at EXPO (recording of the service will be available at YouTube from 4 Sep, 12pm), and no English service at Bukit Panjang, Woodlands and Suntec on that day.

Chinese congregation (Mandarin, Hokkien and China nationals) will have a combined anniversary service at Bukit Panjang Main Sanctuary on the same day, 1 Sep from 2pm to 4pm.

We are delighted to share with you that Rev Edmund Wong has been appointed as the Bukit Panjang Centre Overseer (BPJ CO) wef 1 Jul 2024.

Rev Edmund Wong has been serving with us for the past 17.5 years, from Young Adult Ministry to Prayer Ministry and as a District Mentor. In March 2022, he answered God’s call to move over to Bukit Panjang Centre where he served as acting CO during Senior Pastor Rev Tan Kay Kiong’s sabbatical (Jun–Dec 2022). For the whole of 2023, he continued to serve as Deputy CO under Ps Kay Kiong’s guidance.

Let’s bless him with our prayers as he embarks on this new role. May he continue to serve God faithfully, and lead the BPJ congregation according to God’s wisdom!

Our second Prayer Season — Disciple Singapore (28 Jun – 9 Aug) begins with One Church Prayer & Praise.

Let’s gather as one church in Woodlands Centre on 28 Jun, Fri, 8pm to lift our land and our people into God’s hands!

Hokkien Ministry brings us Parents’ Day Outreach Service for our Hokkien-speaking parents and grandparents on Sat, 25 May. This is a wonderful opportunity to let them hear about God’s love and mighty hand through an inspiring and powerful testimony. Click here for more details.

Dear Lord,
We lift our Church Board and Elders into Your hands. May You draw them closer to You each day, as they seek to fulfil their duties, roles and responsibilities. May they humbly seek Your mind to lead and labour together, acknowledging each other’s spiritual gifts and appreciating each other’s vital contribution. Give them a clear vision to see Your will that they may fulfil Your purpose for Covenant EFC. Grant them wisdom and perseverance as they endeavour to serve You faithfully. In Jesus’ name, amen.

What a wonderful time we had as a family remembering God’s goodness and faithfulness! On 13 April, 491 constitutional members gathered at the Annual General Meeting to give thanks and deliberate on important matters.

As we heard updates and stories of how God’s hands had been moving in 2023, we couldn’t help but be in awe of His favour and grace upon us! We were stirred to forge ahead in obedience and perseverance knowing that our lives and mission are ultimately in His hands.
