🛑Announcement: Second Multidisciplinary Symposium

We are pleased to announce that the upcoming symposium will take place on October 25th and 26th. The event will cover all aspects of breast cancer including radiology, pathology, surgery, and oncology. We are excited to host great speakers and encourage you to keep an eye on our social media for updates on the speakers.

The symposium will be held on Friday, October 25th at 1:30 pm (Sudan time) and on Saturday, October 26th at 9:00 am (Sudan time).

انطلقت تحت شعار "من أجلها" حملة وطنية شاملة لدعم مرضى سرطان الثدي، تجمع نخبة من المنظمات والمبادرات الشبابية والجمعيات.
تهدف هذه الحملة النبيلة إلى تقديم الدعم النفسي والمعنوي لمرضى سرطان الثدي وأسرهم، وتعزيز الوعي بأهمية الكشف المبكر عن المرض وطرق الوقاية منه.

تتضمن الحملة مجموعة متنوعة من الأنشطة والفعاليات، منها:
* تنظيم ورش عمل توعوية مكثفة.
* عقد جلسات دعم نفسي متخصصة.
* إطلاق مبادرات تطوعية لتوزيع مواد توعوية.

ندعوكم جميعًا للمشاركة الفاعلة في هذه الحملة، سواء بالتطوع أو بنشر الوعي عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.

The lecture will be given by Professor Mohamed Elmutasim Abdelbagi in Arabic language at 7pm Sudan Time on Friday 18th October 2024.

We look forward to your contribution by answering relevant questions in your domain.As you know, patients in our country are suffering from war and disease .

Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among women of all ages. Breast cancer typically begins in the lining of the milk ducts. Often, the cancer presents as a hard lump when pressed, and sometimes it causes the nipple to invert. When the cancer invades the rest of the breast, the skin's color and shape change, and the skin may take on an appearance similar to an orange peel.

Symptoms of the disease:

Localized pain in the breast or underarm (although most malignant tumors are not painful).
Presence of a lump or thickening in the breast or underarm.
Change in the shape or size of the breast.
Bloody or non-bloody discharge from the nipple.
Change in the appearance or color of the nipple (persistent inversion of the nipple, change in position or shape).
Feeling changes in the skin or nipple in terms of appearance (cracking, irritation, shrinking, inward pulling)."
