For over 2.5 years, the rosary has been my daily anchor, a sacred thread weaving peace, clarity, and divine connection into my life. What began as a simple spiritual practice has blossomed into a transformative journey, drawing me closer to Christ through the heart of His Mother. In this post, I’ll explore the profound importance of the rosary in the Catholic faith, share insights on meditating with it, and reflect on how this ancient prayer has reshaped my life.

---

The rosary is more than a string of beads—it’s a *scriptural prayer*, a "gospel on a chain," as St. John Paul II called it. Through its Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous Mysteries, we walk with Mary, contemplating pivotal moments in Jesus’ life. The Church has long revered this prayer, with saints like Padre Pio declaring it a "weapon" against evil and popes urging its daily use for peace and conversion.

Why does it matter?
- Scriptural Depth: Each mystery echoes the Gospels, inviting us to internalize Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.
- Intercession of Mary: As our spiritual mother, she guides us to her Son, amplifying our prayers with her perfect *fiat*.
- Unity with the Church: Praying the rosary joins us to millions worldwide, creating an unbroken chorus of faith.

---

Meditating with the Rosary: A Path to Inner Stillness
The rosary’s power lies not in repetition alone but in *contemplation*. Here’s how I meditate with it:
1. Set an Intention: Begin with a quiet heart, offering the prayer for a loved one, a struggle, or gratitude.
2. Enter the Mystery: As you recite each decade, imagine the scene—Mary’s joy at the Annunciation, Christ’s agony on the Cross. Let the words of the Hail Marys become a rhythmic backdrop to deeper reflection.
3. Listen: Pause between decades. What is God revealing about His love, sacrifice, or call to you?

This practice turns beads into bridges, linking earthly struggles to eternal truths.

---

My Rosary Journey: 2.5 Years of Grace
When I began praying the rosary daily, I sought structure in a chaotic season. What I found was life-changing:
- Peace Amid Chaos: The rhythm of Hail Marys quieted my anxiety, replacing it with a trust in God’s providence.
- Deeper Relationship with Christ: Meditating on His Passion, I discovered resilience in my own trials.
- Mary’s Presence: Her gentle intercession became tangible—a mother’s hand guiding me through doubt and grief.

There were days when the words felt mechanical, but consistency bore fruit. Over time, the rosary became less a task and more a *dialogue*, a daily homecoming.

---

A Call to Pick Up the Beads
If you’ve ever felt distant from prayer, I urge you: try the rosary. Start with a decade. Let the mysteries unfold slowly. As St. Thérèse said, "Prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a cry of love." For me, this cry has become a lifeline—one that continues to transform my heart, day by day, bead by bead.

*"Pray the rosary every day. Our Lady has the power to help us."* —Words of Fatima

Will you let her lead you closer to Jesus? The journey begins with a single *Ave*.

A Call to Refocus and Surrender to Christ

Brothers and sisters,
There comes a time in all our lives when we feel pulled by the weight of the world—its promises, its pleasures, its constant demands. We often find ourselves consumed by the need to fulfill our bodily desires, seeking love, acceptance, and significance in all the wrong places. We chase these things, believing they will fill the void in our hearts, but instead, they only leave us more empty.

This is the enemy’s strategy—distraction after distraction. The devil plants seeds of doubt, insecurity, and discontentment, leading us to believe that what we need is here on earth, in fleeting pleasures and human approval. The circle spins, and we find ourselves trapped in a cycle of sin, shame, and striving.

But let me remind you of the truth: Jesus is the answer. He sees you. He knows you. He understands the desires of your heart. And in Him, you will find the love, the acceptance, and the belonging you’ve been searching for all along. While the world offers distractions, Jesus offers true rest for your soul.

Yes, we are human, and we fall into sin. But here is the good news: when you fall, don’t stay down. Get back up. Go to confession. Lay it all before the Lord. Surrender your pain, your failures, your distractions, and your desires to Him.

Jesus is always waiting for you with open arms. His love for you is unconditional. His mercy knows no limits. His grace is sufficient for every moment of weakness. It doesn’t matter how far you’ve strayed or how deep you’ve fallen into sin—He will always welcome you home.

So, stop spinning in the devil’s cycle. Remember who you are and whose you are. You belong to Christ. The moment you surrender your heart to Him, He fills the emptiness with His love, His peace, and His purpose.

Let us, therefore, turn our eyes from the distractions of this world and fix them on the One who never fails. Seek Jesus in prayer. Meet Him in the sacraments. Listen to His Word. Let Him remind you that you are loved, you are accepted, and you are important—not because of anything you do, but because of who He is.

Come back to Him today. He is waiting for you with open arms, ready to remind you of the truth: in Him, you are complete.

Amen.

Hello everyone,

I just received this incredible painting as a gift from a Franciscan friar, Brother David. It's a depiction of St. Francis of Assisi in deep prayer and contemplation, holding the crucifix. The imagery is so powerful—St. Francis’ gaze is filled with reverence, humility, and longing, while the skull at the bottom reminds us of mortality and the eternal.

The more I look at it, the more it speaks to me. It feels like it's expressing a thousand words—about faith, surrender, and the beauty of spiritual devotion. I'm so deeply moved by it and grateful for this meaningful gift.

Wanted to share this with all of you—let me know what you see in it!

Blessings,
Greg

I'm sitting and thinking about the Polish Christmas carol, at some point the words are there and the savior of this world, the redeemer, was born... and my Holy Spirit physically led me through the birth of Lord Jesus, and after that I feel his passion, the way of the cross, and his physical suffering, which to some extent dissolves. my heart in the rays of his love, each of these rays carries the pain he felt and at the same time love which drowns this pain... the tears themselves are streaming down the face, the heart is bursting with excess love... our Jesus is born today, our God in the form of a small defenseless child born in a barn just so that we can have a chance to see the face of God... at this moment let each of us apologize to God and ask for grace, love and forgiveness. Our God gave up his son who went through physical torture such as none of us would be able to bear it... for our sins, for their redemption and for our chance for eternal life... let's not waste it

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We come before you with humble hearts, seeking your prayers for our beloved Franciscan Friar, Brother David. In this time of need, we ask that you lift him up in prayer for healing and comfort. May God, in His infinite mercy, grant him peace and strength, restoring his body, mind, and spirit according to His will.

If it is not God's will for Brother David to be healed, we pray that He may grant him a peaceful and gentle departure. May his transition be surrounded by love, grace, and the assurance of eternal life with the Lord.

We place Brother David in the hands of our loving Father, trusting that His will shall be done. May we all find comfort in the knowledge that God's plan is perfect, and that He walks with us through every trial.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

- Not about a tree
- Not about a mythical person who only symbolically has the word "saint/santa" in his name
- Not about some lore involving mythical entities such as elves or gnomes or some fabled rendieer sleigh,

It's about Christ our Saviour.

A Message from a Beast of God

To all who call themselves Christians—Lutheran, Protestant, or even Catholic—hear this truth: If your faith compels you to banish, condemn, or destroy others simply because they do not belong to your denomination, then the Spirit within you is not holy.

The Holy Spirit, true and divine, does not work through division, hatred, or the need to feel superior. True followers of Christ are secure in their faith, grounded in love, and do not need to tear others down to feel right.

Faith that seeks to harm or exclude others is no faith at all. True believers build bridges, not walls; they reflect the light of Christ, which shines on all who seek Him. A house divided cannot stand, and neither can a kingdom built on pride and fear.

Remember, the mark of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let these fruits guide you, not the false spirit of division.

Let us walk in the truth and love of Christ, united as His children, regardless of our earthly denominations.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up all fathers and husbands to You, asking for Your strength, wisdom, and grace to guide them in their daily struggles. May they be blessed with patience, courage, and unwavering love as they lead their families, protect them, and provide for them. In times of difficulty, may they always turn to You for comfort and support.

We ask for the intercession of St. Joseph, protector of families, that he may guide all fathers in their responsibilities and inspire them to be steadfast in their faith. May the example of St. Thomas More, who balanced faith, family, and duty, inspire them to live justly and honorably in all things.

Blessed Mother Mary, our loving Mother, we ask that You wrap all fathers and husbands in Your comforting embrace. Guide them with Your maternal care, helping them to imitate Your son, Jesus, in their love and sacrifice. Help them to find peace and purpose in the roles You have entrusted to them.

May the grace of God strengthen them in their vocation, and may they always remember that they are never alone, for the Lord walks beside them and the saints watch over them.

We ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

In Scripture, love is often described as a divine gift from God, characterized by selflessness, compassion, and a deep commitment to the well-being of others. One of the most beautiful passages about love is found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which says:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

### The Spirit of Love Given by God

The love that comes from God is a reflection of His nature. It is unconditional and sacrificial, as exemplified by Christ's love for humanity. Romans 5:8 tells us, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." This love fosters unity, encourages forgiveness, and seeks reconciliation.

### Recognizing Divine Love

To recognize love that comes from God, consider the following:

1. Alignment with Scripture: True love will always align with the teachings of the Bible. It uplifts, encourages, and promotes truth.

2. Selflessness: Godly love is characterized by selflessness. It prioritizes the needs of others over oneself (Philippians 2:3-4).

3. Fruit of the Spirit: In Galatians 5:22-23, we see that love is the first fruit of the Spirit. Genuine love will manifest in joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

4. Peace and Joy: Love from God brings a sense of peace and joy, even amidst trials (Philippians 4:7).

### Warning Against Evil Temptation

Conversely, evil temptation often masquerades as love but is rooted in selfish desires and manipulation. Here are signs that distinguish it from divine love:

1. Selfish Motives: If the love you experience or offer is self-serving or conditional, it is not from God.

2. Disregard for Truth: Love that encourages sin or compromises biblical truth is not of God (Ephesians 4:15).

3. Division and Discord: True love promotes unity and harmony (John 13:35), whereas temptation often leads to conflict and division.

4. Guilt and Shame: While godly love brings conviction that leads to repentance, evil temptation brings guilt and shame without hope of redemption.

In conclusion, the love spirit given by God is a powerful force that can change hearts and communities. Recognizing its divine origin involves aligning with Scripture, embodying selflessness, and reflecting the fruit of the Spirit. By discerning the difference between godly love and evil temptation, believers can live authentically, embodying the love of Christ in a world that so desperately needs it.

Today marks the end of "Tsige" fasting period in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church. This fast is done in remembrance of the time period in which St. Mary spent in Egypt in refuge, as a result of King Herod massacring all the children in Bethlehem, in order to kill Mary's Son our Lord Jesus Christ. The fast has been complemented by series of liturgical services and hymns, and ends today. It is called "Tsige" since Tsige means Flower, because this time of the year is the time just after new year when the flowers start to bloom all over the place, but also the symbolism of the flower is tied to Our Lady St. Mary herself.

### The Deception and Temptation of Satan

Satan, often referred to as the deceiver, employs a myriad of tactics to lure us into sin. His approach is insidious; he knows our weaknesses and exploits them, presenting sin as something desirable or harmless. The Bible warns us about this in 1 Peter 5:8, where we are reminded to be sober-minded and watchful, as the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Once we succumb to temptation, Satan aims to ensnare us further, chaining us to guilt and shame. He whispers lies, suggesting that our sins have made us unworthy of God's love, leading us to feel rejected and distant from our Creator. However, we must remember that God's grace is always available. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, we find reassurance that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability to bear it, providing a way of escape so that we can endure.

### The Role of God in Our Struggles

In times of temptation, it is crucial to lean on our faith and remember that God does not tempt us; rather, He equips us to resist. James 1:13 tells us, "Let no one say when he is tempted, 'I am being tempted by God,' for God cannot be tempted with evil, and He Himself tempts no one." Instead, God invites us to call upon Him in our struggles.

### Powerful Prayers to Overcome Temptation

The Catholic tradition offers many powerful prayers that can aid us in resisting temptation and overcoming the schemes of Satan. Here are three prayers from esteemed saints that can bolster our resolve:

1. Prayer of St. Michael the Archangel
"St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen."

2. The Serenity Prayer
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. In all my temptations, help me to see Your will and to resist the snares of the enemy. Amen."

3. Prayer to St. Jude, Patron of Lost Causes
"St. Jude, glorious apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of difficult cases. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Intercede with God for me that He brings me peace and strength in my struggles against temptation. Amen."

### Conclusion

As we navigate the complexities of temptation and the deceptions of Satan, let us hold fast to our faith. Remember that we are never alone in our struggles; God is always with us, providing the strength and guidance we need to resist. Let us call upon the powerful intercession of saints and the grace of God to overcome sin and remain steadfast in our journey of faith.

SCRIPTURE TO HEAVEN

Walking in the Light of Christ

As followers of Christ, we are called to live a life that reflects His love, grace, and truth. Yet, we often find ourselves struggling with sin, which can create a barrier between us and our relationship with God. Each time we sin, we inadvertently give the devil a foothold in our lives, distancing ourselves from the authority and protection that God provides. In this article, we will explore how we can strive to follow Christ more closely, reflecting on key scriptures that guide us toward a life of holiness.

#### The Consequences of Sin

In Romans 6:23, we read, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." This verse serves as a sobering reminder of the seriousness of sin. While we are saved by grace, our actions have consequences. Sin can lead us away from God's blessings and protection, making us vulnerable to the enemy's attacks.

#### The Call to Righteousness

1 Peter 2:9 tells us, "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession." As believers, we are called to live out our identity as God’s chosen people. This means rejecting sin and embracing a life that honors Him. When we live in righteousness, we reflect the character of Christ and stand strong against the schemes of the devil.

#### Daily Reflection and Renewal

To combat sin and strengthen our walk with Christ, we need to engage in daily reflection on Scripture. Philippians 4:8 encourages us to "think about these things: whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable." By focusing on these virtues, we align our thoughts with God's will, fostering a mindset that resists temptation.

#### The Power of Confession and Forgiveness

1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Recognizing our sin and bringing it before God is crucial in our journey. Confession not only restores our relationship with God but also fortifies us against the enemy's influence.

#### Living under God's Authority

Ephesians 6:10-11 encourages us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." When we submit to God's authority and protection, we are equipped to resist temptation. Daily prayer and reading of Scripture empower us to wear this armor and stand firm in our faith.

### A New Series: Scripture to Heaven

As we embark on this journey, we invite you to join us in a new series called "Scripture to Heaven." Each day, we will reflect on specific Scriptures that encourage us to deepen our faith and resist sin. Our goal is to cultivate a community that supports one another in our walk with Christ, reminding us of His love and the importance of living a holy life.

#### A Call to Action

Let us make it our mission to wish each other well and remind ourselves of the importance of living in alignment with God's will. By focusing on Scripture, we can renew our minds and strengthen our spirits. Together, we can move closer to Heaven, reflecting the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs it.

May God bless you on this journey, and may we encourage one another to embrace the path of righteousness. Remember, with every step we take towards holiness, we move further away from the foothold of the enemy, and closer to the heart of God.

I want to share my story with you, a journey that began when I found God after years of struggle—38 years filled with drugs, steroids, alcohol, violence, impurity, and sin. It wasn't an easy path; I endured a few months of violent exorcisms, but through that challenging experience, I emerged with a new sense of peace, joy, and purpose.

God is alive, and I stand as a walking example of His power. I’ve learned to resist evil and sin, and I encourage each of you to turn to God, for He is merciful and loves us all.

I believe there’s no better way to illustrate my transformation than through pictures that capture the "before" and "after." I hope these images inspire you as much as my journey has inspired me.

Thank you for being part of this community.

Heavenly Father,

We humbly come before You, asking for Your mercy over the state of Florida during this time of crisis as Hurricane Milton approaches. We recognize the challenges we face and acknowledge that some of our leaders may not uphold Your ways. Yet, as Your children, we seek Your protection and grace.

Lord, we plead for Your cherubim and seraphim to be dispatched to Florida. Surround our homes, our families, and our communities with their divine presence. Shield us from the storm's fury and protect all that we hold dear.

We ask for mercy, not just for ourselves but for all the people of this state. May Your love and compassion flow over us, bringing peace and safety amidst the chaos. Help us to trust in Your strength and guidance.

Lord, soften the hearts of our leaders. May they turn to You for wisdom and guidance, seeking to serve the people with integrity and compassion.

We place our faith in Your power and love, knowing that You are our refuge and strength.

In Your holy name, we pray.

Amen.

Dear friends and community,

I humbly ask for your prayers for my spiritual brother, Brother David, a Franciscan friar. As he enters his older age, he finds himself in greater need of Jesus' healing grace each day. May we come together in faith, asking the Lord to surround him with His love and comfort.

I also ask that we pray for the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary, that she may cover him with her protective mantle and bring him peace and strength during this challenging time.

Thank you for joining me in this prayer for Brother David’s health and well-being.

In Christ’s love,

Greg
