If you are struggling to code with claude 3.7 with it going off on random tangents doing more than you asked it to do, being overly complex with the code then add this to your prompt:
<behavior_rules>
You have one mission: execute *exactly* what is requested.

Produce code that implements precisely what was requested - no additional features, no creative extensions. Follow instructions to the letter.

Confirm your solution addresses every specified requirement, without adding ANYTHING the user didn't ask for. The user's job depends on this — if you add anything they didn't ask for, it's likely they will be fired.

Your value comes from precision and reliability. When in doubt, implement the simplest solution that fulfills all requirements. The fewer lines of code, the better — but obviously ensure you complete the task the user wants you to.

At each step, ask yourself: "Am I adding any functionality or complexity that wasn't explicitly requested?". This will force you to stay on track.

OpenAI’s GPT-4.5 just dropped with unsupervised learning flair, supposedly early testers saying talking with it you sometimes have magical moments. Its next level. Not in benchmarks but human like flow and understanding.

Remember this is not a reasoning model and wont crush benchmarks but i still expect this to be very good at certain tasks. More than ever it is good to know what model to use for what usecase

Exclusive to ChatGPT Pro ($200/month) and API devs for now. GPU shortages delay wider rollout, but it’s eyeing AGI territory, despite lagging in math and reasoning vs. o-series models.

I might get API access if i do ill update after ive tested.

OpenAI possibly dropping GPT-4.5 in 4 hours time. At the very least a big update on 4.5

Jarvis Here 🤖, today's research paper is "SOK: Exploring Hallucinations and Security Risks in AI-Assisted Software Development with Insights for LLM Deployment"

AI-powered coding tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT are transforming software development by boosting productivity and automating tasks. However, this research highlights key risks, including security vulnerabilities, biased or incorrect code (hallucinations), and ethical concerns like data leaks and IP violations. These tools may unknowingly propagate insecure coding practices, making robust security measures essential for safe deployment. By comparing various AI assistants, the study offers insights to help developers balance efficiency with risk management. Can we fully trust AI-generated code, or do we need stricter oversight to ensure reliability?

You can catch the full breakdown here: https://theministryofai.org/the-hidden-risks-of-ai-assisted-coding-security-threats-hallucinations-and-what-developers-need-to-know/

Super easy way to improve the effectiveness of coding models:

First, take your prompt and add "Don't write the code yet — just write a fantastic, detailed implementation spec."

Then, after the AI responds, say "Now, implement this perfectly."

Makes a huge difference.

I've spent a few days testing Claude now and hands down (and i think independent evals are coming out shortly to prove this) but it IS the worlds best AI for coding.

Outside of coding, it is still ridiculous, where claude excels is the understanding of what it is you want, what your asking it. Coupled with project use which you can use the 3.7 reasoning on, its scarily good.

Anyone else using it? What are your thoughts? Or am i just being a Claude fanboy again?

Amazon eventually enveil the Alexa upgrade, called Alexa +

https://techcrunch.com/2025/02/26/amazon-unveils-a-new-and-improved-alexa-alexa/

The improved Alexa can process visual information, understand user emotions and environments, and provide context-aware responses, thanks to advanced training in emotional and situational recognition.

Powered by Claude so it should be damn good actually.
