Exciting new AI capabilities are coming to Google. This should actually enhance user experience alot so im looking forward to the full rollout.

When you search with AI Mode, it uses a custom Gemini 2.0 model uses reasoning and thinking capabilities to generate a plan, conduct multiple related searches and tap into fresh, high-quality info on the web and from Google’s info systems – for e.g. Knowledge Graph, local, finance, sports and shopping data about billions of products. The model also figures out where and how to show links in different formats, so you can click and learn more.

Currently only available for a limited nunber of paying plus members in the US.

You should sign up to google labs as you get notified to do early testing.

What functionality would you like to see on an AI toolbox extension.

Im updating the existing TPI chrome extension to V3 over the next coming days.

This is what is coming in the next update:

So far ive redesigned it to be a collapsable sidebar you can pop in and out when you need it.
Access all prompts from the main database including search functionlality.
Submit prompts directly from the extension to the main database.
Save prompts privately/locally to the extension which only you can see.

GPT 4.5 should be rolled out to plus users today. Pretty jelous, apparently it turns out although expensive to run, its a damn intelligent model.
