As far as I know only 5 states have started this process yet and for Bihar I can tell you, merger were already scheduled from Jan but it got delayed due to lots of internal process but it would be completed by 31st March and from 1st April there would be Bihar Gramin Bank at the place of Uttar and Madhya Bihar 2 gramin bank.

Last time those who took the SBI PO opportunity for granted must be cursing themselves. The same happened in RBI, NABARD, etc.

Q. What matters most for selection in RBI Grade B?
The exam is very dynamic, so most things matter and become key factors in your selection, but if I have to choose a few that are a must, those are the following:
- In prelims, quant and reasoning matter a lot because these two cost selection for many.
- In mains, revision of management matters a lot because it's static, and you would be asked case studies-based questions in Objective, and theories are interrelated and very confusing most of the time.
- Descriptive English matters a lot because most people think they would be able to write, but it's not only about writing; rather, grammar, spelling, coherence, articulation skills, etc., are required.
Finance and economics have become dynamic, which has made these two difficult because with static, we know we have limited things to cover, but with current affairs, we can think of 100 things as an important part of the syllabus, and when they ask about the AT-1 bond or growth vs. value investing, it becomes more difficult to guess.
In interviews, they look for a good profile with a mix of everything, when the number of vacancies was high, so it was easier for freshers too, but with fewer vacancies, even interviewers are being selective and asking a very diverse range of questions.

Whenever I post course link, I get at least 10 messages asking will RBI Grade B come or will there be Grade A?
First thing, at the moment it's all speculation but let's suppose Grade A comes, do you think the exam would be like IBPS PO? No you can take example of NABARD Grade A, or even this year, SIDBI for its exam has introduced descriptive pattern.
Second thing if Grade A comes, then you must be ready for first mover advantage as it could be one of rare opportunity of lifetime to get into RBI easily, because with time the competition would increase. Syllabus shouldn't change much even if it's Grade A.
So my point being, I am not sure which would come RBI Grade B or Grade A? but I'm most certainly going to teach the same syllabus as mentioned in RBI Grade B so that my students are ready.
Rest if you are a procrastinator then these messages are mostly useless as you would keep indulging in unnecessary discussions as long as RBI drops it's notification.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday (October 15, 2024) announced three Artificial Intelligence Centres of Excellence (CoEs) focused on healthcare, agriculture and sustainable cities.
The initiative, with a total financial outlay of ₹990 crore, will be implemented over five years, from FY 2023-24 to FY 2027-28. The AI-CoEs will be established through collaborations between top academic institutions, industry partners, and startups, as part of the government’s vision to “Make AI in India and Make AI work for India.”
AIIMS and IIT Delhi will lead the healthcare CoE, IIT Ropar will oversee agriculture-related research, and IIT Kanpur will spearhead innovations in sustainable urban development.
An apex committee, co-chaired by Sridhar Vembu, has been constituted to oversee the implementation of the CoEs. The committee includes key industry leaders, ensuring strong industry collaboration.

The way Normalizations was done by IBPS in RBI Grade B 2024 Prelim, students need to raise their voice for this exam too.

IRDAI asks multiple Questions with different marks weightage and time given is less, also they give you fixed space as per the word limit in the paper so without writing practices, performing well in Phase II would be difficult.
As there are no Objective section in Phase II so You can use ChatGPT extensively for answer making but use Google and standard notes too, to enrich your content, don't completely rely on AI.

UPI Circle/Delegate: UPI Circle is a new feature that allows a primary user to authorize a secondary user to make UPI transactions from the primary user's bank account, with set transaction limits. Under full delegation, each delegation is limited to a maximum of Rs 15,000 per month and a maximum of Rs 5000 each transaction. A primary user can delegate to up to 5 secondary users and a secondary user can accept delegation from only one primary user.
In the August MPC meeting, RBI had enhanced the UPI transaction limit from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh for paying taxes, encouraging more taxpayers to use the UPI platform.

Fossil fuel dominance in electricity generation to end by 2030, renewable to cross 50% share: RBI
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has projected that the dominance of fossil fuels in electricity generation will conclude by the end of the decade, according to its latest report.
The central bank forecasts that renewable energy is set to account for more than 50% of global electricity generation as part of a significant energy transition.
The RBI pointed out that for every dollar invested in fossil fuels, approximately three dollars should be allocated to renewable energy in the upcoming years.
Additionally, the RBI indicated that the estimated cost of establishing a fully decarbonized global energy system by 2050 will reach around USD 215 trillion.

The Finance Ministry has increased the Mudra loan limit to Rs 20 lakh from the current Rs 10 lakh, following the announcement made in the Budget this year
In a notification on Thursday, the ministry said it has added a new category Tarun Plus for loans above Rs 10 lakh and up to Rs 20 lakh for entrepreneurs who have repaid their loans under the Tarun category.
The scheme currently enables credit under three categories: ‘ Shishu’ for loans up to Rs 50,000, ‘Kishore’ for loans up to Rs 5 lakh and ‘Tarun’ for credit up to Rs 10 lakh.

Announced in the Union Budget for 2024-25, the scheme kicked off with a pilot project for the financial year 2024-25, targeting 1.25 lakh internships. The internship opportunities span 24 sectors, including oil, gas, energy, travel, hospitality, automotive, and banking and financial services, etc.
Financial Assistance
Interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 throughout the internship duration. This consists of: ₹500 contributed by partner companies, contingent on attendance and conduct.
The remaining ₹4,500 will be provided by the government via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the intern’s Aadhaar-seeded bank account.
Additionally, a one-time grant of ₹6,000 will be disbursed after joining the internship, also through DBT.

- Don't make any stupid mistake in exam, which you could regret later.
- You should try to complete the Descriptive Answer Writing, leaving question is not an option.
- Structure and Presentation of your answers are very important.
- Don't panic in any case, everyone is in same situation as you so it's better use your presence of mind and years of learning than getting panicked and make mistakes.

Why FM Objective is tougher than Last year?
Based on the response received:
- They have asked maximum 2-Markers from management and Paragraphs were lengthy and it takes time to read.
- This time majority of the management 2 Markers are based on Case Studies which used to be only few in previous year.
- Previously management Questions were easy to guess but this time options were confusing and not easy to crack.
- Current Based Questions on UPI were easier but they were in 1 Markers.
Based on the response received:
