Google has secretly added an app to over a billion phones that scans your photos and uses up to 2GB of RAM.

This app, called Android System SafetyCore, checks your phone for “unwanted content” and then hides itself.

To delete it:
• Go to Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Find and delete “Android System SafetyCore”
