JAV & VAN Token Update

We’re discontinuing support for JAV and VAN tokens due to JAV’s migration to Base and overall low liquidity on DMC.

What are your options?
✅ Withdraw your JAV and VAN tokens to a DMC address before 23 Feb.
✅ Do nothing – remaining balances will be automatically converted to USDC

We recommend withdrawing before 23 Feb 2025, but if you prefer the automatic conversion to USDC, no action is required – your remaining JAV and VAN tokens will be converted at market rates and credited to your Bake account within a week after the deadline.

As part of the recent business transition, the license exemption that Cake Pte. Ltd. had for the Bake Platform has now been discontinued. Consequently, we will no longer be able to provide the products and services to customers in Singapore.

Account access for Singapore users will be discontinued, and all funds must be withdrawn by 30 April 2025. This change is specific to Singapore and does not affect users in other regions.

As previously communicated, due to prevailing MAS regulations, Bake is no longer able to offer yield-generating products to retail customers in Singapore. To comply with these regulations, we set an October 25th deadline for the withdrawal of unsupported assets, including DFI. As communicated to affected users, we have now begun automatically swapping any remaining DFI to USDC to ensure a smooth transition.

We’d also like to clarify that Bake is NOT selling DFI from its treasury. This swap only affects individual account holdings and aims to fulfill regulatory requirements for our Singapore customers.

To align with the upcoming dToken restart DFIP on DeFiChain, we’ll be delisting all dTokens on Bake. Managing the new changes directly on our platform would be too complex and require significant resources. That’s why we’re asking users to withdraw or swap their dTokens by October 21st.

After this date, any remaining assets will be automatically converted to DFI. Once the onchain implementation is complete, we’ll evaluate the possibility of relisting dTokens on Bake in the future.
