By launching this Russian language training project, we have received feedback that you like and find the lessons interesting. We also received positive support from Maria Butina, who wholeheartedly supported us in this endeavour.

So we decided to ask around in our Orthodox community who else would like to get involved as a teacher. Anastasia responded!

We would like to conclude this working week with a case on obtaining a Shared Value Visa for our client from Ireland 🇮🇪
Our client came to us with a request to apply for a temporary residence permit under the new Presidential Decree and, accordingly, to apply for a special private visa.

At the time of her contact to us, there was very little information in the public domain about obtaining such a visa in Ireland. For other major countries we had information quite quickly thanks to the prompt work of our staff and thanks to useful information from our subscribers❤️

Our specialist promptly sent an e-mail enquiry to the Russian Consulate in Dublin. After a couple of days of correspondence we got the full information we needed and started the process.

What we had to do?

1. To analyse whether our client's current passport was suitable for obtaining a visa.
It is important that the passport is valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires + the passport must have 2 completely clean pages. We recommend to have 3 clean pages, because you will get a visa in your home country, then in Russia you will get a temporary residence permit stamp and a temporary residence visa. That is 3 stamps.

2. Get an insurance policy
The insurance must be valid for the whole duration of the visa with a coverage of at least 30,000 euros

3. Fill out an application to the Consul

4. Fill in the online application form on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia

5. Request to book a date and time at the consulate

It took us about 3 working days to prepare the documents and the following week we had already booked the consulate appointment.

We asked our client to describe how everything went at the reception at the Russian consulate. You can read about her experience on the screenshot to this post. Special thanks to her for describing everything in detail!

As a result, in 7 days our client picked up a ready passport with a visa. And now is engaged in obtaining a certificate of criminal record.
Now we are diligently preparing to apply for a temporary residence permit.
