Modular vs. monolithic isn't dead.
The terminology and narrative marketing has ran its course, but there's very clear, objective truth to the way blockchain systems design works. If you want to try to defy gravity on one baselayer, feel free.
If you want physics on your side with unlimited scaling, you have to scale horizontally. Verticalization of infra helps for distrubution and UX, that's obvious.
What happens when we 100x the users? You are seriously thinking we have AI agents running 10M TPS on a single chain.
No. That's silly and I'll debate anyone on this on our podcast (and probably get schooled by smarter ppl but at least we learn).
The endgame is clear. Time will tell.

Lava just listed on ByBit after they did a DEX first launch. Gave community like 2 months to buy sub $100M FDV and then listed on CEXs, which is pretty damn cool to see. Also, well positioned for AI meta...still just about B/E on the venture investment. Let's see how next few months pan out for them.
