Highlight: Khmer History & Culture Course at AUPPHS-FA​

At AUPP High School–Foxcroft Academy, our Khmer History & Culture course offers a deep dive into the ancient foundations of Khmer/Cambodian society and how Cambodia’s history has shaped the modern nation we know today.​

Starting with Pre-Angkorian and Angkorian Cambodia, students will explore the Indian/Hindu and Chinese influences that helped shape our culture. The course continues through the post-Angkorian period and the Vietnamese occupation, before moving into modern Cambodian politics and culture.​

Throughout the course, we’ll examine the crucial role of Buddhism and traditional beliefs in shaping Cambodian politics, society, and daily life. This course offers students a rich understanding of Cambodia's past and present!

One interesting fact about Chhunkim is that she hates tomatoes but loves ketchup on everything. She also prefers napping over looking out the window during road trips.​

Her favorite subject at AUPPHS-FA is AP Calculus—not just because it’s challenging, but because it makes her reflect on the meaning of life. She finds the Capstone Project difficult but believes it prepares students well for university and presentations.​

Chhunkim’s most memorable moments come from earning her community service hours, which helped her improve her social skills. After graduation, she plans to attend a good university and later support her parents’ business. Her advice to juniors: “What’s coming for you is bigger than what has passed.”​

K-3 Circle Art Printing Fun!​

Our K-3 students at AUPP Primary School are exploring their creativity through Circle Art Printing! Throwback: K-3 Students Visit Kirisu Farm! ​

Our K-3 students had an amazing experience visiting Kirisu Farm, Cambodia’s first national, commercial, high-tech, modern, and largest dairy farm! It was a fun and educational day as our students explored the farm, learned about dairy farming, and saw the cutting-edge technology behind it all.​

A huge thank you to Kirisu Farm for hosting us and giving our students such an enriching experience! ​
