CRPF, CISF, BSF
Its a very difficult to answer which cadre of all three mentioned above is best. In other words , I would say it is a very subjective question , subjected to personal preferences. Though all the three services are security related service but with slightly different mandate. I would here try to give an insight on the service conditions based on my limited knowledge, and then one can decide which service will suit him the most,
CRPF is the biggest Central Police Force in India and according to some biggest paramilitary in the world. Being the biggest and the oldest force CRPF enjoys reputation unmatched to the rest of the forces. CRPF has its presence throughout the India which is good and bad both.Good because one will be exposed to new and adventurous conditions and bad because u will get posting anywhere in India. The best thing about CRPF is that you will be enjyoing free hand and autonomy at ground level functioning. But the service conditions are really bad, CRPF is the main force in dealing with the internal security problems, be it naxalism, insurgency or separatist movement in Kashmir, CRPF has received maximum casualties in last one decade, even more than the army.Assistant Commandant being the junior most officer can be posted anywhere and life will be full of challenges. But one will get the real feeling of force here along with the lots of reputation. And also the infrastructure of CRPF is good along with very good promotion rate.
BSF is the second biggest force with the original mandate of securing the Indian border with Pakistan and Bangladesh. The posting conditions are usually rugged and tough, sometimes risky when you are posted at Pakistan border. Bangladesh border is relatively peaceful. But one negative thing in BSF is that most of the time junior officers are posted at the border towns and states, mainland posting is a luxury here which few can afford. The casualties are less compared to CRPF.But since CRPF is also deployed in mainland , personnels of CRPF are respected and are paid heed to by the local police and administration, which is not so true in case of BSF.Last but not the least the promotional scenario in BSF is really bad in current times, can't say about the future.

CISF offers the most easy going job in all the 5 forces . Postings are always peaceful, most of the officers it is possible that might not have fired a single bullet in real life situation. The lodging conditions are the best. An officer will be always provided with one of the best accommodation of the the township. Most of all family life is good. U will lead a peaceful and luxurious life with no work at all, and this may be a problem for some.

Doing no work at all at times may not give u satisfaction. The feel of real force is absent. U will not be given free hand and autonomy as the officers of other cadre enjoy. Promotional chances are also bleak , if not worst than BSF then definitely not good too.
