Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades expressed their pride and sorrow as they mourned the death of senior Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, in a statement, praised Safieddine's significant role in supporting the Palestinian people and their Resistance, highlighting his contributions to building and strengthening the Resistance Front against Israeli occupation over the years.

The statement also emphasized Sayyed Hashem's enduring legacy in the fight for al-Quds and his pivotal role in the broader resistance movement.

"He was close to the fighters, deeply connected to the people, and cherished by the families of the martyrs..."

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, announced the martyrdom of the head of its Executive Council, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.

The statement mourns the loss of Sayyed Hashem, describing him as a distinguished leader and a great martyr on the path to al-Quds.

The statement highlighted his close relationship with martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah.

Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, who was said to be Nasrallah's right hand, according to the Resistance group, was remembered as a strategic thinker, devout, and dedicated to the cause of Resistance.

The Israeli occupation forces committed six massacres against Palestinian families in Gaza, killing 74 Palestinians and injuring 130 others who arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of Palestinians killed since October 7 last year due to "Israel's" genocide against Gaza to 42,792 Palestinians and those injured to 100,412, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Tuesday evening witnessed intense Israeli aggression across Lebanon.

The Ministry of Health in Lebanon reported that 19 people were martyred, and 35 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday evening targeting the Nabatieh, South, and Baalbek-Hermel governorates.

On Monday alone, the Israeli aggression killed 63 people and wounded 234 others.

Despite the siege, bombings, and security conditions, the commander said, the Brigades had not stopped preparing [for the enemy] both underground and above ground.

"We have made our decision to fight the enemy until the last breath," he affirmed, adding that the Brigades take pride in being "an integral part of the Axis of Resistance that is loyal to Palestine and its sacred sites."

Highlighting the unity between all Resistance factions, the commander said, "We complement each other's roles and move with confidence and determination toward our shared goal of a free al-Quds and Palestine."

The resistance fighters of the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, shared a video and conveyed a message to the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon through Al Mayadeen.

As part of the message, a commander in the Brigades said, "We tell our brethren in Hezbollah that together, we are drawing a heroic scene of unity of the battlefields."

The commander added, "The criminal enemy should expect nothing but relentless combat from us, as this land belongs solely to its people," stressing that the Resistance will not compromise on its rights and will not be broken.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon says its fighters launched an advanced rocket salvo targeting the Glilot base, which belongs to Unit 8200 of military intelligence, in the suburbs of Tel Aviv.

Yesterday alone, the Islamic Resistance carried out 39 operations against Israeli targets in defense of the Lebanese people and in support of Gaza and its Resistance.

Earlier today, sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and their surroundings due to rockets fired from Lebanon.

Over the past few days, sirens have been sounding all over Israeli-occupied cities from al-Jalil to beyond Haifa as a result of the non-stop military operations carried out by the factions of the Axis of Resistance.

Amnesty International has called for an investigation into the Israeli military’s bombing of branches of al-Qard al-Hassan, a social institution focused on providing loans to individuals for specific periods in Lebanon, suggesting it should "be investigated as a war crime."

The US government has imposed sanctions on the institution as part of the financial siege targeting Hezbollah and its social network. Israeli forces struck several of its branches across Lebanon late Sunday and early Monday.

Amnesty stated that "the Israeli military's targeting of branches" of al-Qard al-Hassan "likely violates international humanitarian law and must be investigated as a war crime." The organization emphasized that "under the laws of war, branches of financial institutions are civilian objects unless they are being used for military purposes," making these attacks "likely a direct attack on civilian objects."

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll from "Israel's" aggression since last year has risen to 2,546, with 11,862 people injured. On Monday alone, Israeli strikes killed 63 people and wounded 234 others.

This comes as "Israel" intensified its attacks across several regions in Lebanon, primarily targeting South Lebanon, Bekaa, and the Southern Suburb of Beirut, leaving a trail of destruction and massacres, killing civilians, including children.

UNRWA Chief Philippe Lazzarini has made an urgent appeal for a halt to the Israeli aggression in northern Gaza to allow humanitarian aid to reach trapped civilians. In a post on X, he shared that UNRWA staff members are struggling to find basic necessities like food, water, and medicine in the war-torn region.

"The smell of death is pervasive, with bodies lying in the streets or under debris. Efforts to retrieve bodies or deliver aid are being blocked," Lazzarini stated. He urged for an "immediate truce, even if just for a few hours," to ensure the safe passage of families fleeing the violence. "This is the least we can do to save innocent civilians caught in this conflict," he added.

Al Mayadeen continues to document the aftermath of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

Our correspondent in Beirut, Abbas Sabbagh, reports on the aftermath of "Israel's" massacre in Jnah, where more than a dozen people have been killed, with dozens more injured.

He emphasized that the site being shown on camera, which currently shows only rubble and smoke, used to host entire residential buildings which have now been reduced to rubble by the Israeli raids.

According to the Financial Times, citing a confidential report outlining a dozen recent incidents where the IOF attacked UN troops in Lebanon, the IOF forcibly entered a clearly marked UN base and is suspected of using chemical white phosphorus at a range close enough to injure 15 UN peacekeepers.

The FT said this report has been conducted by a country that contributes troops and highlights how Israeli occupation forces targeted UNIFIL on multiple occasions, damaging several facilities and causing injuries to troops stationed at border posts in Southern Lebanon.

This is not new, as the Israeli occupation has been targeting UN workers alongside members and facilities of other international organizations in Gaza for more than a year now.

Among the 36 operations announced by Hezbollah, 5 of them included strikes against Merkava tanks. Additionally, an operation targeting a Merkava tank from the previous day was announced as well.

Five of the tanks were destroyed by Hezbollah's anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), including one destroyed in the border village of Rub al-Thalathine on Monday.

Another tank was destroyed by Hezbollah fighters between Rub al-Thalathine and al-Taybeh on Tuesday, however, the Resistance did not specify the mode via which it was targeted.

The rest of the tanks were destroyed on the outskirts of Odeissah, Misgav Am, and the outskirts of al-Taybeh.
