Leadership is inherently valuable. Taking responsibility for making hard decisions is a great relief for others. Making good decisions is even more valuable. But even if you make sub-par de- cisions, that's still a lot better than anarchy or democracy, which is the default in any social situation when leadership is absent. So, put your neck on the line, step up and tell people what to do. They'll never thank you for it, but they will love you for it.
