From Beach Vibes to Hidden Bars: My Last Weekend in Phuket 🌴
This weekend was my last one in Phuket, and I made the most of it! Besides teaching my lovely students, on Saturday, we headed to a beach club(пляжный клуб) where my family and I soaked up the sun (наслаждались солнцем) and swam. Later, my boyfriend and I went to see Joker 2 at the cinema. Lady Gaga’s performance and her vocals were absolutely amazing! I love watching movies in the original language on the big screen—it’s such a special experience.
On Sunday, we discovered a hidden gem(секретное место) —a monument to two sisters who helped defend Phuket during the war. Unfortunately, the place is now abandoned (заброшенное) , as the government focuses more on supporting tourist hotspots. After that, we went to the beach, indulged in Thai food like pineapple fried rice (рис в ананасе) and super spicy tom yum (супер острый том-ям) , and enjoyed the sunset. That evening, we explored two incredible bars—one with a Halloween theme and the other a hidden bar (скрытый бар) , only accessible through a secret door disguised as a kiosk.
To top off the night, the police jokingly asked my boyfriend Vlad to take a photo with them, and we headed home(поехали домой) on a bike taxi.
