The US SEC has approved the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust to be traded on the NYSE Arca exchange. 🚀 #CryptoNews

According to the news, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved the application of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust to list its shares on the NYSE Arca exchange. In the rule change filing submitted late last Friday, the SEC stated that "the approval is based on a careful evaluation of all the statements and descriptions made in the respective exchange's revised filing."

The regulatory agency approved the NYSE Arca's application for trading the new derivative product on Friday. #SECApproval

Greece to Start Imposing Crypto Tax in 2025

The Greek government is planning to introduce a tax framework for cryptocurrencies and digital assets, although the government currently does not officially recognize these taxes. A special committee will submit its findings on cryptocurrencies and digital assets to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and it is expected that cryptocurrencies will be included in the tax system by January 2025.

The document states that profits from cryptocurrency and digital asset transactions will be taxed as capital gains from the sale of securities at a rate of 15%. The committee's investigation will be divided into three areas: defining and recording all cryptocurrencies, the taxation method, and the monitoring process.
