One of my favorite pieces I've worked on, I've had many people inquire me before about how Wild's mowhawk works.
It stretches down his neck and ends around the middle of his shoulder blades. It's stylized in that it has segments where it's a perfect "sweep" and juts into sections. Wild's collar clips through the mane—his mane is never squashed by the typical physics.

Kind of like the idea of Wild's stomach being so hyper aggressive that when Wild DOES manage to eat something he genuinely can't assimilate, his stomach utterly refuses to tolerate another moment without "actual" food, and automatically ejects the eaten person with in a belch.

I've got a number of projects I'll be doing that include:
*Finishing up Softer Side chapter 1 and the production of chapter 2
*I'll be completing the sprites for FVN Hearthfire's Summer Special.
*making new merch for LVFC that includes Tshirt designs, stickers and keychains
*And I'll be collaborating character design with a video game passion project between friends, things are still in early development
I'm looking forward to 2025, it's sort of like starting fresh again, and that always feels good.

I've made it a personal promise to *aggressively* retweet my fellow working artist's pieces on Bluesky to help everyone get their bases back. You should too. Our artists can't survive on likes alone on sites that have no algorithm, and if we don't make our own algorithm through retweeting then only the most popular of the most popular will only ever be seen and the rest fall to the wayside.
So, if you can like a post, you can retweet it! Think of it as tipping the waiter at American restaurants.

Tanks aren't *exactly* what you might make you believe they are in Softer Side based on their role's name. A tank's job actually isn't based on absorbing damage, but to be a distraction for the enemy to focus their attention on while the rest of the raiding party tries to eliminate the distracted foe. If you DO receive damage, however, it's ideal that you can withstand it.
In Softer Side, the bad tanks are actually the ones decked out in full body armor. That makes them slow and have worst reaction response time. The primary villains of the story often have deadly weapons you more so have to dodge or parry rather than take a direct hit...Among the tanking profession, those folks are referred to as "caskets on legs."
The PROPER tanks are the ones who wear the smallest amount of armor needed, or forgo it entirely. There are no rules to how you should function on the battle field, besides always commanding the enemy's attention.
Many tanks use their unique talents to draw aggro. Ken in particular, employs the use of his persona of a bully and tends to viciously mock their foes while also brutally slinging and pummeling them across the battle field. Other tanks might use their unique biology or techniques to hinder or confuse their foes. Some might only ever run away and make themselves appear an easy or obvious target but lead the enemy into a trap. There are many ways one can be considered a proper tank.
A fun character trait I want to depict with Ken is that he's always standing between Dimitri and Jiryu and whoever they're talking to casually. He's quite dedicated to the oath of a tank and always acts as if he's on duty and making himself an obstacle for strangers to overcome. And him being a big fat fox makes him *very* hard to slip by

Some relationships are like succulents and don't need much maintenance. But it's still a plant, and needs help to grow healthy.
Some relationships are like orchids, and they're high maintenance. But we need to divorce ourselves from the idea that needing alot of attention is bad. Because the payoff of giving it the love it needs let's an orchid blossom into a beautiful bloom.
But no relationship will ever bloom unless you're *both* willing to do the work of nurturing the soil and removing problem causing pests from eating the roots and leaves.
