Him: Thanking you for being super kind and caring to open his message in less than a second.

You: Knowing full well that your thumb betrayed you and opened the message by accident.

🔰Once you take the red pill, you will never trust anything!

🔰Getting red-pilled about the job market changed my perspective!

🔰When I got red-pilled about COVID lockdowns, I started questioning its effectiveness!

🔰When I got red-pilled about social media, I realized how this manipulative tool shapes public opinions!

Ever wondered if we’re living in a simulation and we are just some NPCs—background characters—in someone else’s life, playing minor roles in a story that’s not even ours? A story where the real protagonists are someone else! Just thinking about it gives me chills!

Maybe I should quit watching so many sci-fi movies:)

🔰Sell-by date:

🔰Many people think the Prime Minister has long past his sell-by date and should step down to make way for other leaders.

🔰Many football fans believe Messi and Ronaldo have long past their sell-by date and should retire from their international teams to make way for younger players.

🔰Elon Musk’s post shows he believes the Prime Minister has lost public support, and now he is nothing but a lame duck for the rest of his term!

I wasn’t expecting to get hit with a pile of messages all at once!

Many of you shared your recently learned life lessons with me, and I was blown away by your strength and determination. Some of you keep pushing forward despite the rough patches you’ve been going through.

There’s nothing more beautiful than seeing someone let go of the past mistakes and setbacks and hold onto hope.

P.S. I was also super impressed by your excellent language skills and English proficiency. Keep it up!🔥

This is also an interesting question to answer:

Do you have a bucket list? If so, what is on it?

Writing 101

Ask yourself this question:

What did I recently learn the hard way?”

(You can share your experience with me. Always interested in learning from someone’s experience. It’s a good practice for your writing as well)

Back down:

Double down:

مثالها برای back down:

🔰I firmly stand by what I said, and you cannot bully me into backing down. The time for appeasement is over!

🔰The company was determined to lay off workers as part of budget cuts, but it backed down after public backlash.

🔰What a determined and magnanimous politician he is! He spoke out against discrimination and doubled down on his criticism.

🔰He knew his stance touched a nerve with those people, but he chose to double down on his view.

🔰He knew his opposition would cost him his job, but he doubled down on his stance. He is a great person with moral compass!

🔰When the argument got heated, I expected him to back down from his statement, but instead, he doubled down on his point.

🔰He is the embodiment of courage and risk-taking. When faced with opposition, the company’s CEO refused to back down. Instead, he doubled down on his ambitious plan. Leaders like him are hard to come by these days.

Probably not the best movie scene I’ve ever come across, but it’s definitely one of the most moving and heartfelt. This scene sticks with me and lingers in my mind years after I’ve seen it. The music is just the icing on the cake!

Go down the rabbit hole

Social Media is second to none when it comes to wasting time. When I pull out my phone to check something, I end up going down the rabbit hole of endless Instagram scrolling. And before I know it, hours are gone, and nothing gets done!

I’ve always admired patient people and, I’ll admit, been a bit jealous of them too—those who can take a deep breath, keep their cool, take a step back, and look at the things from every angle when life throws a curveball.

Patience feels like a fair-weather friend—it shows up and sticks around when everything’s going smoothly, but it’s nowhere to be found when life takes a turn for the worse. That’s why patient people are so fascinating, impressive, and admirable.

Let’s make this embarrassing and disrespectful behavior a thing of the past.

I just watched a short video that reminded me of something I witnessed a few years ago. I had been invited to a birthday party—somewhere I always feel a bit out of place, to be honest:). I was hoping to avoid the one thing I absolutely can’t stand: someone smashing the birthday cake into the face of the birthday person. But, of course, my hope was short-lived.

As soon as the candles were blown out, someone—who probably thought he was so cool and funny—grabbed a handful of cake and smashed it right into her(Birthday person’s) face. What a bizarre and thoughtless move. It was too far! Pretty uncalled-for! To top it all off, he was hoping others would do the same thing! That creepy move made the party take a turn.
Thankfully, nobody laughed, and his stupid joke fell flat. She looked devastated for a few seconds—rightfully so. Everyone noticed her teary eyes. But she held back her tears and put on a brave face just to enjoy the rest of her party. I couldn’t have admired her patience and forgiveness more. How could anyone bounce back from something that disrespectful and humiliating?

There is no point in asking how much prep is needed to take the TOEFL exam—don’t waste your time looking for a magic number. You’ll end up getting wrong answers.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution and method. Just figure out what works for you. Everyone’s pace is different.

Very patronizing!

You are being very patronizing and talking to me in a dehumanizing way!

He spoke to me in a condescending tone!

Enough of you being so patronizing! I won’t put up with your condescending attitude anymore!

Could you please stop being patronizing for a sec
?

You have a superiority complex over us

You look down upon us

You have such a god complex

و…

ولی خب میشه راحت گفت you are stuck up.

🔰How far along are you with your project?/where are you at with your project?

🔰Almost done—just tying up some loose ends and making the final scratch.

Or

I’m almost there—just a few loose ends to tie up and the final scratch to finish it off!

Joking aside, have you ever seen a non-Iranian get really taken aback by this social custom? How did they react? Did they take it as something well-intended and respectful, like it’s meant to be, or did they think it was kind of hypocritical or dishonest? If you’ve seen it happen, I’d be curious to know how they reacted.
