I have a requirement here that I’m sure you will find of interest.

We have a need in UAE for a Cementing Supervisor with experience running DLT packers and RBP.


This is for a 1 year contract which can be extended.
Rotation is 2 months on 1 month off

Rate I will discuss with you over a call.

Start date will be as soon as possible.

Liner classification

■ Production liners :- are run from the last casing to total depth. They replace production casing. Cementing is usually critical, because zonal isolation is essential during production and any subsequent stimulation treatments.

■ Drilling or intermediate liners :- are set primarily to case off and isolate lost-circulation zones, overpres- sured zones, sloughing shales, or plastic formations. This is necessary to resume drilling. Cementing these liners is often difficult.

■ Tieback stub liners :- extend from the top of an existing liner to a point uphole inside another casing. They are generally used to repair damaged, worn, corroded, or deliberately perforated casing above the existing liner and to provide additional protection against corrosion or pressure. In addition, they must be designed to perform within the casing-design envelope for the well.

Inner string cementing

It is a technique typically used with large diameter casing in which drillpipe is placed inside the casing as the conduit for pumping fluids from the surface to the casing annulus.

Some advantages:-
⁃ reduce displacement volume
⁃ Decrease the need for working time
⁃ Less contamination
⁃ More environmentally

Three types of equipment can be used :-
1-Stab-in
2-Screw-in
3-Latch-in

Stage cementing collar

When there is any restriction to cement the well in one cementing job (eg. weak formation) , the solution is using the stage collar which is an equipment utilized to split the job into two/ multi stages.

Generally, there are two types to stage collar:-
1- mechanical:- used in vertical wells
2- hydraulical :- used in deviated wells


Also, external packer could be used to minimize the Non-Productive Time ( NPT) by implementing the cementing in one job.
