Tracing is a process where candidates' exam papers are closely monitored with the intention of manipulating their grades during marking and grade processing. To illustrate, consider a scenario where, after initial marking, you received a D7 grade in a subject. However, through the use of script tracing, grades can be altered to either a B2 or B3.

You might wonder, "How do they identify my paper?" Well, we gather specific information from you, such as your name, school, index number, and school region. Since questions are distributed based on this information, we claim these credentials to assist us in the process of tracing your paper.

You might also question the reliability of this process. It's essential to understand that tracing papers is not sanctioned by WAEC and constitutes examination malpractice. When you choose to engage in this process, you do so at your own risk.
