🇺🇦🇷🇴✍ Apparently also Ukrainian city of Kolomyia plans to become logistics hub. Railway line between Kolomyia and Sighetu Marmatiei is planned to be open. Currently there's also bridge project on that exact border. Location of Kolomyia is interesting, it's also directly on path of proposed NATO highway. On Romanian side, there's less active plan to build motorway from Cluj to Ukrainian border.

On fact, if Kolomyia turns logistics hub, it would be viable to build also missing link on Ukrainian side. It's geographically more difficult but it would form alternative route for NATO highway towards Western Romania, Bulgaria and Bucharest.

This likely means that eventually EU funds transport connections inside Romania even more. Within years, almost certainly all NATO highway, Budapest-Odesa highway and connection towards Constanta Port from NATO highway starts construction.

Currently, about 70 % of Ukrainian exports go via Romanian ports. Eastern Europe Dispute over grain corridors certainly had huge effect on that.

What has changed is Romania uses now actively it's chances on that which certainly also feeds their economical growth. Eventually also Moldova will benefit hugely on this.
