If you really believe in the protestant reformation, test your belief against another. I listen to so many debates! Great way to learn and see if it really holds water. Consider it prayerfully. Remember how many people believed in rapture here before I kept showing how false it was? Only GOD can reveal it to you in your humility, not in your pride!

This is why I reject protestantism. It is too much like my old way of thinking, take what you agree with and leave the rest. NO, Christ left us a church and a BODY to be in unity with! I will continue to share what He has shown to me through His church! 💒 I will love everyone who disagrees with me regardless.

Protestantism/Baptist/Non-denominational/"I don't belong to the church, I am the church" is nothing but new age Christianity in the way it is relative truth where everyone is able to believe whatever they want with no accountability for the heresy they spread. The reality is in the early church, they would be deemed a gnostic for this way of thinking alone.

Sometimes it feels as if I am screaming into the void here, but I thought I would share in case anyone is interested.

I am working on a new podcast which will be a focus on a balanced approach between extremes—neither falling into legalism and rigidity nor laxity and compromise. The subject matter will range from far out there concepts and regular current events including but not limited to politics, conspiracies, theology, left/right dynamic (the horseshoe method) - taking it and analyzing it with TRUE critical thinking - not the veneer that has plagued the conspiracy circuit.

• John 6:53-56: Jesus says, “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you… My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.” This passage lays the foundation for the Eucharistic theology of the Church.
• Matthew 26:26-28: At the Last Supper, Jesus says, “This is My body… This is My blood of the covenant.” The early Christians understood these words literally, as reflected in their writings.

2. Early Church Fathers
• Ignatius of Antioch (c. 110 AD): In his letter to the Smyrnaeans, he writes, “They [the heretics] abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the Flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ, Flesh which suffered for our sins and which the Father, in His goodness, raised up again.”
This shows that the belief in the Eucharist as Christ’s actual body and blood was already established and heretics were rejecting it.
• Justin Martyr (c. 150 AD): In his First Apology, he describes the Eucharist:
“For not as common bread and common drink do we receive these; but… we have been taught that the food which is blessed by the prayer of His word… is the flesh and blood of that Jesus who was made flesh.”
• Irenaeus of Lyons (c. 180 AD): In Against Heresies, he writes,
“The bread, which is produced from the earth, when it receives the invocation of God, is no longer common bread but the Eucharist, consisting of two realities, earthly and heavenly.”
He explicitly connects the Eucharist with the Body and Blood of Christ and emphasizes its role in the Resurrection.

3. Other Early Writings
• The Didache (1st century): While less explicit, this early Christian manual describes the Eucharist as a sacred meal of thanksgiving and hints at its deep spiritual meaning.
• Clement of Rome (c. 96 AD): In his letter to the Corinthians, he alludes to the Eucharist as a sacrifice, which aligns with the understanding of the Eucharist as the real presence of Christ.

4. Liturgical Practices
• Early liturgies, like the Liturgy of St. James (1st-2nd century), include prayers and actions that reflect belief in the Real Presence. The care taken in handling the Eucharist also demonstrates their reverence for it as the actual Body and Blood of Christ.
