As mild winter hits the northern India, Here is a gentle reminder

When getting out of bed is a struggle, there are aspirants putting in 8-10 hours daily —those are the ones you'll be competing with to qualify for the mains then for the PT. Many of them have successfully cleared both prelims and mains multiple times.
The choice is yours: enjoy winter in a cozy blanket or hit the library/study table.

The reason you're having a hard time becoming disciplined isn't because there is something wrong with you. Actually the opposite.

You lack discipline because your inner child is so strong. Think of how children act, they constantly want to explore and try new things. The child is easily bored and quick to move from toy to toy, place to place, etc
You are the same way, it's not that you're unmotivated, undisciplined, or some other negative reason. You are just constantly being drawn to new things because people with a strong inner child and a hyper active mind will constantly want to try their hand at everything. Every Reels, every shorts, every way of having fun will entice them. These people are like cats, extremely curious and adventure seeking.

You are someone who has an urge to explore. You find it difficult to be disciplined because your mind isn't focused. Focus and discipline come hard to you because your mind is constantly searching for a new way to have dopamine boost.

Meditation plays a significant role in enhancing focus and discipline
By training the mind to stay in the present moment, reducing the tendency to get distracted by external stimuli or internal thoughts.

It cultivates a deeper understanding of emotional triggers.
Meditation promotes relaxation and reduces stress hormones like cortisol. A calmer mind is better equipped to make rational decisions and maintain focus, which is crucial for staying disciplined.

Regular meditation can enhance cognitive functions, including memory and problem-solving skills. A sharper mind contributes to better task management and decision-making, essential for maintaining discipline.
