The University Teachers Association of Ghana's (UTAG), National Executive Committee (NEC) is set to meet tonight to deliberate on its next course of action after the outcome of the referendum, despite Organised Labourβs decision to call off the planned strike action against illegal mining, which was scheduled for October 10.
A total of 2,762 members across the 15 member branches casted their votes. Out of that, 2,153 representing 77.95% of the total votes, voted YES for the motion to embark on nationwide strike in support of the #StopGalamseyNow campaign.
