All *applicants who submitted(online) their admission applications late,* particularly around December 5th, and *applied for non-interview-based programs* are hereby notified that the *admission process is still ongoing, as late admissions have not yet ended.*
Applicants are advised to *visit the universityโs admission portal* to check if *their names have been included in any of the programs they applied for.* _Once confirmed,_ they should proceed to *print their admission letters and make the necessary admission fee payment* as soon as possibleโpreferably *within the next day or two.*
At *UCC, admissions officially close at matriculation*; therefore, the *final deadline for admissions is set for March 2025.*

*SRC SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT*
The 62ND SRC wishes to extend its support to students who are struggling to make full payment of their school fees due to some critical reasons.
In this crisis, the SRC has seen the need to intervene on behalf of such students in the meantime, especially those who have not been able to make any payment at all.
30 students will be sponsored by the SRC in this regard.

*โผ๏ธARRANGEMENTS ON ACCOMMODATION FOR UCC LEVEL 100 FRESH STUDENTS (2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR)โผ๏ธ*
All Level 100 fresh students who wish to apply for residence at the University Halls should kindly take note of the following arrangements on reopening and accommodation:
1. All UCC Level 100 fresh students are expected to report to Campus on Monday, 20th January, 2025.
2. Make payment of *One Thousand, Four Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHศป 1,450)* as Residential Facility User Fee into the UCC accounts indicated in the admission letter at any Prudential Bank or Absa Bank across the country using the student registration number to be sent to you
3. Proceed to select a room via the student portal immediately after payment.
4. Alternatively, fresh students who prefer to reside in private hostels around campus are advised to kindly make personal arrangement accordingly.
_All fresh students should take note of that_.

University Of Cape Coast was established in 1962 as a *Teacher Training College,* and offered *Diploma programs in Education Only*.
In 1972, The Institution became a constituent college of the University of Ghana and introduced *Degree programs in Education* and was later renamed *University Of Cape Coast* in *1975*.
The University gained autonomous status, expanded its programs and included *Arts, Science and Social Sciences* in *1982.*
UCC later introduced *Graduate Programs* in *1990*, and later Established Colleges and Faculties.
In 2011, UCC launched *Distance Learning Programs* and established the *College Of Distance Education* in *2014.*
University Of Cape Coast was ranked first among Ghana's top Universities in 2018, and was noticed as the institution known for given out the best teacher education and training, strong research on African studies, education and health, and also having good partnerships with International Institutions.
University Of Cape Coast is having its main campus in Cape Coast, Satellite campuses inside Accra, Kumasi, Tema, and also have modern facilities which includes Libraries, ICT centers.
The University is having Over *50,000* students and diverse students population from Ghana and West Africa.
