Market Outlook:
* The markets are likely to open flat, with the focus shifting to quarterly results announcements. This suggests a cautious sentiment among investors as they await more information from company earnings reports.

* Brent Crude oil is trading at $83 per barrel.
* The USD/INR exchange rate is at 83.58.
* Gold prices are at $2,430 per ounce, equivalent to INR 73,631.
* The 7.10% 2034 G-Sec yield is at 6.96%, slightly lower than the previous day's 6.97%.

FII/DII Activity:
* Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers on July 16, 2024, with inflows of ₹1,271.45 crores.
* Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) were net sellers, with outflows of ₹529.48 crores.
* For the month-to-date in FY24-25, FIIs have net inflows of ₹14,674.88 crores, while DIIs have net inflows of ₹4,144.90 crores.

1. U.S Markets closed mixed yesterday. 
2. Dow Jones closed lower whereas S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed higher.
3. U.S Futures are mixed right now.
4. Gift Nifty is flat.
5. Asian Markets are higher.
6. All the World Markets are in a consolidation trend now.
7. Our Markets are on a non stop rally & nobody knows when this will end.
8. Now markets are more of in a Euphoria state.
9. Post elections , markets have delivered amazing returns.
10. Before a big event like Budget,  it's better we cool down a bit.
11. Having heavy expectations from the Budget might lead to disappointment 
12. Then there might be some violent reaction in the Markets.
13. It's always better we brace ourselves for uncertainty 
14. Ever since the Budget dates have been announced,  India VIX is up 10%.
15. Expect it to more higher close to 18 levels before the Budget.
16. We are at an overbought zone so caution is advised. 
17. Do not chase the Market , buy the dips to go long.
18. Markets will provide you with opportunities if one is patient enough.
19. Today is Bank Nifty expiry , range for Bank Nifty for today would be 52k -53k.
20. Nifty might trade between 24250 to 24600 today.

*Union Budget: Anticipation of the Union Budget presentation by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on July 23, 2024, is another key factor. The Budget Session of Parliament will begin on July 22 and end on August 12

Technically, the Nifty has support at 24,200 levels. As long as it holds this support, it may attempt to test 24,500-24,600 levels.

The Bank Nifty is consolidating in the 52,000-53,200 range. A breakout on either side will set the further direction for the index.

Six stocks are in the F&O ban period on Monday: Aditya Birla Fashion Retail, Bandhan Bank, GNFC, Hindustan Copper, India Cements, and Piramal Enterprises.

Key stocks to watch include IndusInd Bank, Titan, Marico, Dabur, Bank of Baroda, and Adani Wilmar based on their recent business updates.

TCS will kick off the Q1 result season on Thursday, July 11
