❀️ AGAINST THE STORM: DELIVERING RELIEF

🚁 Since 4 Feb 25, our RSAF personnel from the Oakey Detachment have been working alongside the Australian Defence Force to transport emergency supplies to civilians affected by the flood in northern areas of Queensland.

🫑 Leading the operation is LTC Ian Cheang, Commander of the RSAF's Oakey Detachment that operates the two CH-47F helicopters supporting the flood relief mission. Read more on his first-hand account of the missions here.

✈️ Earlier this Tuesday night, our RSAF fighters and Ground-Based Air Defence systems were activated due to a suspected bomb threat onboard an Air India Express flight.

πŸ‘πŸ½ The Air India Express plane was directed away from populated areas to conduct checks, and subsequently escorted to land safely at Changi Airport at 10.04pm.
