تحت اشراف المركز القومي لتدريب المعلمين وبتمويل من الاتحاد الأوروبي وإدارة الخبرات الفرنسية، يعمل المجلس الثقافي البريطاني على تعزيز قدرات المعلمين والاستاذه في مؤسسات التعليم العام و العالي عن طريق عدد من البرامج التدريبية. تستهدف البرامج أساتذة كليات التربية بالجامعات السودانية الحكومية المتخصصين في المناهج الجديدة للغة الإنجليزية والرياضيات والعلوم والتاريخ للمرحلة المتوسطة. وذلك ضمن مشروع "تدريب المعلمين ما قبل وأثناء الخدمة".

Under the supervision of the National Center for Teacher Training (NTTC), funded by the European Union, and managed by Expertise France, the British Council is implementing the project "Pre- and In-Service Teacher Training." The project aims to enhance the capacities of teachers and academic staff in general and higher education institutions in the new intermediate school curricula for Math, English, Science, and History.
As part of the project, training programs will be conducted for faculty members from colleges of education at Sudanese public universities who specialize in the above-mentioned subjects.
