Q2. Nine person lives in a seven floor building. Each floor contains two flats - Flat 1 and Flat 2, which is right of Flat 1. Bottommost floor is numbered as 1 and the floor above 1 is numbered as 2 and so on till the topmost floor numbered as 7. There are vacant flats in the building and not more than one person lives in the each flat of a floor. Two floors are between the floors of I and H in same flat no. H lives in odd numbered flat of even numbered floor. I lives at one of the floors above H. D lives immediately below of I and the flat numbers of both are same. Three floors are between A and E and the flat numbers of both are same. A lives immediately below of D and the flat number of both are not same. C lives immediately above B but the flats numbers are not same. Only C and B live in their respective floors. G's flat is two flats above of B's flat both are same flat no. Two floors are between F and G. F's flat is south-west of G's flat.

Bob attends the class immediately before Faizal and after Eva. The number of persons attending the class between Diana and Eva is one less than between Diana and Bob. Direction (16-20): Eight doves - A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are living in two different cages viz. X and Y

of a four-storey building, but not necessarily in the same order. Cage Y is to the east of Cage X. Only

one dove lives in each cage. Each dove has different colour rings in its legs such viz., Violet, Blue,

Green, Black, Yellow, Brown, Pink and Red. The bottom-most floor is numbered as 1 and the floor

immediately above it is numbered as 2 and so on. F lives two floors above the dove which has brown

fing. E lives north-west of F, which doesn't have blue ring. Only one floor is between E and D, which

has pink ring, where both are in different cages. As many floors above D is same as below H, which

has red ring. Both G and H doesn't live in the same cage as D. As many doves living above G is same

as below C. The dove which has violet ring lives two floors above B, which has black ring. The dove

which has green ring lives below the dove which has blue ring in the same cage. A neither has yellow

nor brown ring. F doesn't have blue ring. At least one floor is between the doves which have yellow

and pink ring.

Q1. Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are going on vacation at two different dates i.e. 11th, 24th on four months i.e. January, March, April and May but not necessary in same order. R goes on even date and the month which has even number of days. One person goes between R and U. T goes just before V but not in same month. As many persons go before Q as many persons go after W. P goes before S. P does not go in the month which has even number of days. P does not go just before Q. Q goes before W.

Q2. There are seven different Coffee shops - A, B, C, D, E, F and G sold coffee one on each day starting from Monday to Sunday (of the same week) not necessarily in same order. The number of coffee cups sold by the seven coffee shops in seven different days of a same week is 100, 77, 68, 81, 118, 53 and 106 (not necessarily in the same order). D sold 77 cups of coffee. 53 cups of coffee is been sold by B. 81 coffee cups were sold on Wednesday and 3 days after Wednesday B sold the coffee. Shop which sells 68 cups of coffee does not sell it either on Monday or Thursday. On Thursday a shop sold 118 coffee cups and on the day after Thursday F sold 106 coffee cups. G sold 81 cups of coffee while the shop which sold 100 cups of coffee does not sell it either on Monday or Sunday. C does not sell coffee either on Saturday or Sunday C sell coffee after E.

Q3. Eight kids A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H were born in different months among April, May, June, July, August and September, October and November but not necessarily in the same order. B was born 2 months before D. D was not born in a month consisting of 31 days. Two kids were born between B and G. A was born before G. F was born immediately after E but not born in the month which has 30 days. F is not born in the second last month of the year. H was not born in the month which has 30 days but born before B.

Q4. Eight persons M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T are born in four different months of two different dates are 19 and 24. Four months are January, April, July and September. M was born on 19th April. Only one person was born between M and S. R and N was born on same month. T was born one of the days after S. Only two persons were born between S and T. R was born one of the days before N. Only two persons were born between R and Q. Both R and N are not born in September month. Number of persons born between T and O is same as number of persons born between P and S.
