Since price is at ATH level and is moving drastically on sentiments, it wouldnt be wise to randomly trade as we do not have a reference price on the left.

Gold futures are reaching 2900 level and that would be price levels between 2873-2885 approximately, counting in potential fluctuations for temporary psychological resistance.

So if you are trading on buys, be careful as price approaches this level and if you are looking for sells, wait for confirmations like break of structures on M1 and M5 timeframe to ride down if it happens.

Otherwise, its better to stay away and tell ourself there are some days just not meant to trade but to allow market to create its price actions and market structures.

Looks like Gold is on the bullish side again on the uncertainties of Tariffs imposed by Trump on other countries. It may have a temporary impact on the economies around the world and therefore creating more appeal for Gold as a safe haven. 📈

As such, we have to be more risk managed as it is uncertain how well a supply zone will hold on as price goes up.

Instead for now, if price comes down we will try to identify good demand zones to entry while waiting to scalp the fresh supply zones as price goes up.

Lets not force the entries and be patient.

Our projection is still, a possible upward trajectory ahead of NFP and then we need to let the data speak for itself to create a huge market movement.

So as usual, if price drops, look for buy confirmation ahead of NFP consensus for tomorrow and wait for fresh supply area above 2680 with confirmation to take advantage of the reactions.

The narrative for this week is solely based on the Non Farm Payroll data that will be released this Friday.

Based on the weekly news flows, it is anticipated that the jobs data are expected to be weaker than previous, as it would reflect December jobs intake (which makes sense)

So, overall, we believe the price is heading down to collect demand to shoot up for the week after today's news.

Today we have one high impact news:

⚠️ S&P Global Services PMI | 10.45PM

The consensus is expected to be a stronger than previous data and hence the bearish pressure for XAUUSD may sustain first until news today.

So the strategy for today is to ride the sell momentum until a proper demand area is reached.

Look for confirmation and lets start focusing on buy from there onwards for the week till NFP!

As the year is coming to an end, before the dawn of 2025, I was thinking to myself "what have I truly achieved this year?"

It was a difficult question 🤔

To be honest, 2024 has been a rough ride especially in the industry that I am passionately working on.

There has been intense war developments which has taken away thousands of lives, political instability around the world which has created rumours of a World War III and all these has caused a turbulent and uncertain market which not only depend on the economic data but rather riding massively on the fear and greed of speculators.

Towards year end is when I realised what have I truly achieved for the year. It was the success of my trading community and the impact it has made to their lives despite a rough ride in the world economy.

We have together learned how to protect ourselves and navigate the markets in such conditions, and take advantage of it in the right ways.

The screenshot is one my beloved and diligent community member who have been learning everyday, accepting the ups and downs through the process and finally is seeing the big picture of his efforts.

Its a big day today with the release of the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) ⚠️

Big move early this week and price has reached 2700 once again. What is the motive behind this big move? Is it going to continue being bullish or is this just a move to hunt for supply before stabilising and dropping further down?

Well, it depends on the data today as it will set the sentiment for next year's policy.

One thing that is driving the price upwards is the December rate cut decision which will take place soon.

So for today, we believe its more like a decision making event with price stuck near supply area.

Just sharing on how I start off a new week as a trader together with my trading community - THE KEY IS TO READ MARKET MOVER EVENTS. 🗞

Well, I woke up to see a slightly aggressive up and down push in gold prices and had to understand what is driving the momentum. 📈📉

So then, I came up to read these events happening:

🌐 Syria is witnessing a monumental transformation as rebel forces, led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), have seized control of major cities, including Damascus, effectively ending President Bashar al-Assad's 24-year rule and the Assad family's five-decade-long governance. Assad has reportedly fled to Russia, where he has been granted asylum. (Geopolitical event)

🌐 People's Bank of China resumed gold purchases in November after a six-month hiatus, adding 160,000 fine troy ounces to its reserves. (Fundamental driving force of gold demand and prices)

🌐 The US will be releasing their Consumer Price Index (CPI) data this Wednesday and the inflation figures will be closely watched to further assess Fed's decision on December rate cut decision and future policy path.

🌐 Other significant market movers could be the remaining economic data for the week which includes the US PPI, ECB Interest Rate decision.

This will then shape the thought process on the bias for the week and how to develop the strategies to take trades with a higher probability of winning.

Hello hello SuperTraders ☄️💪

We wanted to post the outlook earlier but it seems like gold was all out sideways 🥱 without any decisive move whether to hunt liquidity or to set a direction.

This means that the big boys are waiting for a better catalyst which could probably be the JOLTs data tonight. This data could add some spice to gold's bullishness if the data is lower than expected and vice versa.

So, if you are an aggressive trader, all the best catching the short term support and resistance areas and avoid them during news.

As for today we will monitor the impact of JOLTs and wait for better areas of supply and demand instead of trading the already used areas.

If price goes up, we will try to see if it can reach towards 2670 and monitor for supply reactions.

As tomorrow is ADP and the forecast is lower, if price drops we would try to catch any demand areas that are interesting.

Could be an upward move today eventually 🤔 Lets see!

Same story yesterday and today and it will be for tomorrow as well.

Yesterday's CPI movement was anticipated and as we wrote it, reacted all the way from the first supply zone of 2618 towards 2550 now.

Will the price be bullish from here? A retracement is possible but as we get towards PPI, it will be wiser to wait for lower prices and scalp.

If price by any chance becomes bullish temporarily, look for supply zones to continue selling. Its only going to be win win if you are patient.

Today we have 2 High Impact News:

🔴 PPI & Core PPI
🔴 Initial Jobless Claims

Like we said earlier the story will be the same as yesterday. Find for supply zones if it goes up.

If price breaks 2545, there is a possibility the bearish movement could create a clean traffic movement towards 2522-2512 first and eventually 2500.

So stay cautious and take care of your layerings. Ride the sells and scalp the buys!

Time for a High Impact Event today! We have the release of a possible BIG MARKET MOVER

🔴 Consumer Price Index (CPI)

Current consensus is pointing towards a steady inflation figure but YOY pointing slight increase.

Gold price as usual is reacting from the daily support level that is slightly liquidated but remains sideways without major clues for now.

Technically, price could make an upward move to then turn bearish ahead of PPI tomorrow.

So this could be a chance to tap into potential supply zones at the higher level. The nearest supply zone is between 2618-2628 with the higher one being above 2646-2660.

If price moves upwards, wait for a nice zone and manage your risk wisely to find for the supply zone.

On the bearish case, we will be identifying demand towards 2575-2550 area.

Since the zones are big, wait for proper confirmations on the smaller timeframes to act on your trades as the momentum could drive a one direction movement ⚠️

It's time to restart the engine! Hopefully you guys are as excited as we are for a market with less one uncertainty - DONALD J TRUMP ✅

Lets take a look at today first. Today is the VETERAN'S DAY ✈️, which is a Federal Holiday in the US. However so, the "stock markets will still be open in the US" and there might still be a little participation in the financial markets today.

The only market that is closed is the bond market, which can lead to reduced participation from market players.

Note: Although today is a Federal Holiday in the US, we should always exercise caution and be prepared for anything as large price movements can usually happen on unexpected days.

Current Price Action 🕯

Market has dropped in from the morning session to the current level of 2668-2670.

We are anticipating a bearish weekly candle based on the economic events that are happening this week unless there are unexpected war developments.

Ultimate bearish target for the week is towards 2600-2580.

So if price pulls back upwards, it would be good to look for supply zones and capitalise them for the week. We will update when there is proper momentum in the market!

It has been a non directional day yesterday since it was a Bank Holiday.

As for today we have 2 Medium-High Impact News that could shape the movement of XAUUSD with further momentum:

🔴 NY Empire State Manufacturing Index 🇺🇸
🔴 CAD CPI 🇨🇦

As such we might see good volatility heading in the the US Session. As of now any bearish pressure towards a fresh zone will be a good opportunity to look for a buy.

If price drops further, we will be monitoring the price action from 2631 onwards while as for resistance levels we will be monitoring if the bearish pressure can hold the price at 2648-2653. ⚠️

Current Market Structure is a breakout of a consolidation while the market was assessing the data impact on the aggressiveness of Fed Rate Cuts.

For now the safest place to target for a sell reaction is above 2675-2685 (ATH) 🔴

If the price continues to breakout from ATH, we need to wait for the developments in market sentiment and stay away until there is slight stability in the momentum and structure of the market.

As we mentioned earlier, first direction is still on the BUY side. So if you are bullish, stay away from the SELL and maintain proper risk management and SL levels while you ride the trend.

The current consensus is expected to show slightly weak Job Openings in August 2024, but lets see how the data plays out.

The current bearish pressure on gold could sustain temporarily until important days like NFP and CPI to set the narrative.

As for today we will be looking at critical supply areas above 2650 for a SELL setup, while waiting below 2620 for a BUY setup.

Stay patient and be strategic with your risk management as any developments in geopolitical risks can disturb our strategy.
