L&T: got orders worth over Rs 15,000 crore from NTPC for setting up thermal power plants in Madhya Pradesh (1600 MW) and Bihar (2400 MW).
Varun Beverages: the board has approved acquiring 100% stakes in SBC Tanzania and SBC Ghana to expand in Africa. It will also acquire the remaining 39.93% of Lunarmech Technologies to fully own it; total cost of over Rs 1,600 crore.
Hyundai: reported a 15.54% year-on-year fall in net profit to Rs 1,375.47 crore in the July-Sept quarter.
Samvardhana Motherson: reported a 336.49% year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 879.74 crore in the July-Sept quarter. This quarter, they acquired the remaining 34% stake in Motherson Auto Solutions for Rs 236 crores.
Bosch: reported a 46.35% year-on-year fall in net profit to Rs 536 crore in the July-Sept quarter.
BSE: reported a 30.82% year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 346.75 crore in the July-Sept quarter.

ONGC: reported a 25% year-on-year fall in net profit to Rs 10,272.50 crore in the July-Sept quarter. Dividend declared: Rs 6 per share. Record date: 20 November. Crude oil prices fell below $70 during the quarter, for the first time since Dec 2021.
