- The US markets were volatile, but they picked some steam right before the close and ended the day flat
- Dollar gained after three straight sessions of losses
- Nvidia results came just before closing stock was down 0.8%, result was largely in line with analyst estimates, stock fell in after hours
- Healthcare, Energy and materials stocks were the biggest gainers, while consumer discretionary, financials and technology equities were the biggest drag
- Dow +139, S&P500 flat, Nasdaq -21
- US 10Y bond yield at 4.40%

- Retailer Target shares dive 22% after Q3 comparable sales up just 0.3% vs. 1.5% consensus, EPS missed by more than 20%, gross margins contracted 20 bps due to costs of managing higher inventory levels, Q4 guidance soft and FY EPS guidance lowered by 8%
- Ford to cut 4000 jobs in Europe amid tepid EV momentum

About the Company:
NTPC Green Energy Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, a ‘Maharatna’ central public sector enterprise. Company is the largest renewable energy public sector enterprise (excluding hydro) in terms of operating capacity as of September 30, 2024 and power generation in Fiscal 2024. The renewable energy portfolio encompasses both solar and wind power assets with presence across multiple locations in more than six states which helps mitigate the risk of location-specific generation variability. Operational capacity was 3,220 MW of solar projects and 100 MW of wind projects across six (6) states as of September 30, 2024. As of September 30, 2024, the “Portfolio” consisted of 16,896 MWs including 3,320 MWs of operating projects and 13,576 MWs of contracted and awarded projects. As of September 30, 2024,“Capacity under Pipeline, for which a memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) or term sheet has been entered with joint venture partners or offtakers but where definitive agreements have not yet been entered, consisted of 9,175 MWs. As of September 30, 2024, Capacity under Pipeline together with our Portfolio consisted of 26,071 MWs. Company is looking to expand its capacity to 60GW by FY32.
