Fake bots and clones
We want to make it clear that there are fake bots and clones using our names and profile pictures to confuse users. We strongly advise against using them or sending any text to them. Always verify that the username is correct and only use the official bots, which are @sangmata_bot or @sangmata_beta_bot.

Telegram Stars
If you haven't noticed already, our donations now accept Telegram Stars by default. This change is due to Telegram blocking our existing payment gateway for reasons unknown to us. We understand that the value of Telegram Stars may vary in different places, which is beyond our control. However, if you're looking for a more affordable option, consider purchasing Stars through the Telegram desktop app (download directly from the Telegram website) or from the fragment website. If you want more information about donations, please send "donate", "donatealt", or "groupdonate" in the bot's private chat. To all donors, thank you for your contributions; they will help cover the server costs and support the future development of our bots.

What's next
You may have noticed that we don't post updates as frequently; however, the bots are constantly being developed to include new features. You can always check when the bot is updated by sending the text command "version" or "versionhistory" to the bot's private chat.
Currently, these are the features that we plan to release in the following order:

- Full bot translations with group and user configurations (Currently in active development - available in the next major release)
- Public SangMata API

Long story:
Earlier this year, thanks to our supporters, we had the budget to upgrade our servers with all new components. Unfortunately, we encountered an instability issue with the latest Intel processors after a few months of the server running. Therefore, this weekend, we plan to replace the unstable processor with one that is stable but has lower performance while sending the affected processor to Intel for RMA. We don't know how long the replacement processor will arrive, nor can we guarantee its stability, but we will continue to monitor the situation and keep the server running. Thank you for your understanding.

We would like to announce that we have updated @sangmata_beta_bot to version 2.7.1. In this update, we have made several changes to the bot. Here is a list of the changes:

- Improved tracking module detection
- Enabled Inline query for the bot's commands - we call it inline command for simplicity.
- Lots of bug fixes (though we may have introduced new ones too 😂)

What is an Inline command?
When you mention @sangmata_beta_bot, the bot will respond with a list of commands that it supports. You can still type the command normally, but this time the bot will tell you whether it is the correct command or not.
For example, in a chat, you can type "@sangmata_beta_bot 123123123" or "@sangmata_beta_bot @username", and then you just tap the shown command.

How can you try it?
You can try the beta bot in our support group (@sangsupport), or you can try adding it to your group and test it.
Please note that the beta bot might be unstable and buggy, so you may want to continue using the original bot, @sangmata_bot, which will also be updated to version 2.7.1 in a week or after we fix all the bugs in this version. 💻

Just a quick update: SangMata has been updated to version 2.6! In case you haven't noticed already, here is a summary of the new features:

1. You can now forward SangMata notifications to other channels or groups/topics. To learn more about this feature, simply type "getconfig" in your group.

2. You can prevent search queries in your group ("history" or "allhistory" commands). Again, typing "getconfig" will provide more information on this.

3. Groups can now make a donation and receive a group quota. This is a shared quota that any member of the group can use, instead of individual quotas. If you want to see an example of this feature, you can check out @sangsupport, which has it enabled. - Send the "groupdonate" command in the group chat for more info, or send the "chatinfo" command to see the group ID, type, and quota.

We have a quick update regarding the SangMata bots. You might not immediately notice, but we've made some internal optimizations to enhance bots' performance and reduce memory usage. Below is a summary of the latest improvements:

🟢 Accelerated the history module's speed and decreased memory usage by up to 1.5 times.

🟢 Resolved bugs related to duplicates in the "allhistory" command.

🟢 Enhanced the search functionality by username using the "allhistory @username" command. For users with a username, you do not need to find their ID manually; simply use their username instead. It's important to note that this command is exclusive to "donator" accounts.

P/S: Search by ID still works for free users and you don't have to donate to use; "allhistory <userId>". E.g. "allhistory 12345678"

How to donate, then?
For as low as $2, you can support us by:
1. Initiate a private chat with either @sangmata_bot or @sangmata_beta_bot.
2. Type the word "donate" in the chat and send the message.
3. The bot will reply with further details about the donation process.
After making a donation, your account will receive an upgrade with an increased quota, exclusive commands access, and no expiration date.

Impact: Bot online unless the servers rebooted, which caused downtime until all started again.

Monthly Maintenance
Estimated time: At least 2 hours until completion, occurring during the final week of each month.
Tasks: Executing full backups of all servers and databases, followed by a system-wide reboot.
Impact: Bot offline until maintenance is finished.

Unfortunately, we have received reports of users abusing our bots by making third-party bots to get user/chat histories without our permission or the proper credit given to our team. Seeing our hard work being taken advantage of in this way is disheartening.

We have invested a considerable amount of our spare time and money into maintaining this bot. However, we cannot condone any individuals who abuse our bot or use it for financial gain. We aim to keep this bot as an unrestricted service for our users. However, due to the increasing expenses of servers and the selfish behaviors of some, we are forced to implement measures to address this issue.

Our team has made a decision to introduce a quota for each user which will limit the number of history commands that can be used per day. However, if you donate at least $2, your account will be upgraded to a DONATOR account that will never expire and will have a higher quota than the basic account. Your donation will help us continue to maintain our bots and add new features in the future.

• Telegram ID links account type, so changing your Telegram ID will revert your account to the basic account type.
• Donation is handled directly by Telegram.
