Ibn Mas'ūd (raḍiyAllāhu 'anhu) said: "The believer views sins as if he were at the foot of a mountain and fears that it will tumble down on him. While the sinner views sins as one does mere flies which land on his nose [which he flicks away easily]." Reported in the two Ṣaḥīḥs.

The Announcement Made In Paradise

Suhayb narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, "When the people of Paradise enter it and the people of the Fire enter it a caller will call: 'People of Paradise, you have an appointment with Allah.' They will ask, 'What is it? Didn't He make our scales heavy, whiten our faces, admit us in Paradise and save us from Hell?' Then the veil will be lifted and they will see Allah. By Allah, Allah did not give them anything more pleasant to them than looking at Him."

Those Who Will Enter Paradise

Abu Hurayrah also reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The first batch of people who will enter Paradise will be like the moon on a full-moon night, and the batch next to them will be like the most brilliant star glittering in the sky. They will neither urinate, nor relieve nature, nor spit nor blow their noses. Their combs will be of gold, their sweat will smell like musk. The fuel of their censors will be the aloes wood. Their wives will be from among the dark-eyed beautiful maidens. Their feature will be the same in the image of their father Adam, sixty cubits tall."

He replied, "Paradise and Hell."

All Eight Gates Of Paradise Will Be Opened For Him

'Umar ibn al-Khattab reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "No one of you performs ablution and does it perfectly then says: 'I bear witness that there is no god beside Allah, alone, Who has no partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger', but all the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him to choose which one to enter."

How Can The Hearts Not Love Him?

How can the hearts not love the One who solely brings good, the One who solely eradicates the bad deeds, responds to the supplications, wipes away the faults, forgives the sins, conceals the blemishes, relieves from difficulties, rescues from hardships and fulfills the wants? Thus, He is "The most deserving of remembrance, the most deserving of our gratitude, the only one deserving of worship, the most deserving of praise, the best in assistance, the most compassionate of all who reign, the most generous of all those who have been asked, the most giving of anyone who ever gave, the most merciful of anyone who has been asked for mercy and the most noble of all those who have been intended."

So Their Souls Can Find Rest

Some of the people of insight have noted in their exegesis of the statement of Allāh:

مَن كَانَ يَرۡجُواْ لِقَآءَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ لَأٓتٖۚ

"Whoever hopes for the meeting with Allāh, indeed, the term decreed by Allāh is coming." [Al-'Ankabut: 5]

Since Allāh knows the intensity of the longing to see Him within the hearts of His righteous allies and that their hearts will not be content unless they meet Him, He declared that there would be an appointed time for His meeting so their souls can find rest.

The Repentant One Is Like Someone Who Does Not Have Any Sin

It has been firmly established as a result of the perfect Wisdom, Justice, and Virtue of Allāh that the repentant one is like someone who does not have any sin. Allāh has further guaranteed to exchange the sins of the polytheist, the murderer and the fornicator into good deeds upon repentance. Allāh has said:

"Say, 'My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He al-Ghafur Ar-Rahīm.'" [Az-Zumar: 53]

Your speech is your captive, when it exits your mouth you become its captive, and Allāh says about the tongue of anyone who utters a word:

مَّا يَلۡفِظُ مِن قَوۡلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيۡهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٞ

"He does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared to record." [Qaf: 18]
