The truth of the matter is that the set up of your prayers this season should be such that can be able to position you to pick the frequency of heaven as concerning the marching orders of your mandate. Be careful to not set up in a way as to impress people with your strides, nor to satisfy the afterwards guilt of inactivity of this season. Don't go on a spree of prayers that outwardly is boisterous and voluminous but in the end, empty of instruction.
Prayer is a system of heaven that is designed to sustain a two-way communication mode. This posture is actually the primary reason for your fasting adventure.

NOT MERE STONES
The stones picked from the river banks used by David as insignificant as that object is, was not with an intention to ridicule Goliath. It was also not a case of lack of preparedness on David's part, No! It wasn't.
The truth of the story was that David never expected a fight on the day he appeared on the battlefield. His assignment was the errand of bread. The spotlight was never his motivation, and the throne was not his ambition. He was already a prepared man hence, in his usual line of duty he chose stones. It may be called "mere stones" by an ordinary man, but to David they were a crucial aspect of his armoury. Infact he was even offered the full set of the king's armour but he rejected them on the ground of his own training.
To David, his weapons must be tested and proven. not measured in size, but it's value is directly proportional to mastery in the art of handling.
Nobody believed in Him, but he was thrust on the following conviction pillars that bordered his confidence.
They include but not limited to;
Simplicity
Training
Trust
It showed his simplicity.
He didn't try to improvise to blend into the battle of the big boys. With the entire army of Israel and Philistines watching the showdown, he would have tried to show off the king's armour. But he didn't . He stayed in his lane.
His training
To David, the battle that day was relative to his training. The only difference was that one was behind the scenes, the other was on stage. To him, Goliath equated to the lion and the bear he faced. The sheep and lamb he shepherded represented Israel. If the equation worked in the bush, it will work on the stage.
His trust in God
David's response to Saul on his ability to confront Goliath highlighted the core of his confidence.
"David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee"
(1 Samuel 17:37)
It was the Lord that delivered him. Yes he never undermined his training, but to him it was the Lord that did it. Inasmuch as mentorship is key and training good, never forget that it is the Lord's mercies that brought you through.
As we draw nearer to 2025, know this... that it He delivered before, he will yet deliver. This means that if he did it in the past, he has not grown weary nor uninterested, he will still do it again and again. For the man or woman that will recognise this resource, will always be a recipient of his might and ability.
The mere stones in your hand will bring down giants in Jesus name.
I see greater divine deliverances as we advance without fear into the coming year.

THE GAME PLAN
ยซ Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. ยป
(Romans 6:12)
The summary of a victorious christian life is to understand that it's what you allow that reigns over you.
The word "Let not" means~ do not allow. It is a statement of choice. You can choose to allow it or not to.
Sin seeks to rule your body. The nature of man that stems from it's fallen Nature is a willing tool for sin. So the body is the access point of sin.
But Sin in itself lacks the capacity to prosecute it's influence on the body without an inside man. It doesn't operate by itself, it uses a tool called LUST which dwells in our body. Meaning sin has little chance of success if lusts are not available, and the lusts first mode of attack is to appeal to one's will which by designation is the seat of obedience.
Obedience is God's ultimate requirement. It's a proof of your loyalty.
John 14:15 states, "If ye love me, keep my commandments"
Hence the reigning capacity of sin can only be influenced by one's choice of obedience. The currency that grace supplies is an inner ability that enables one to choose to live by the rulership of the Holy spirit.
ยซ So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you wonโt be doing what your sinful nature craves. ยป
(Galatians 5:16 NLT)
This is simply the core course on our walk of faith on this side of the divide until we see him as he is and this corruptible puts on the incorruptible.
May Grace be multiplied as we are found pleasing in him in all things.
