-"The repentance accepted by Allāh is only for those who do wrong in ignorance [or carelessness] and then repent soon [after]. It is those to whom Allāh will turn in forgiveness, and Allāh is ever Knowing and Wise.

-But repentance is not [accepted] of those who [continue to] do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "Indeed, I have repented now," or of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.

-"Allah only accepts repentance from those who dared commit sins and disobedience due to their ignorance of the punishment and evil involved. This is the situation for everyone who sins, intentionally or unintentionally, then returns repentant to their Lord before their death. Allah will accept their repentance and overlook their sins. Allah knows the circumstances of His creation, and He is All-Wise in His decree and legislation.

-Allah does not turn in mercy and forgiveness to those who continue in their disobedience, overstepping the limits and insisting on overstepping them, and not turning away from doing this until they are dying, then saying that they regret what they did and asking for Allah's forgiveness. Also, Allah does not turn in mercy and forgiveness to those who die in disbelief. He has prepared a painful punishment for them.

-Allāh has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.

-And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allāh and the Last Day," but they are not believers.

-They [think to] deceive Allāh and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.

-In their hearts is disease, so Allāh has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.

-And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."

-Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.

-And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.

-And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."

-[But] Allāh mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [while] they wander blindly.

-Those are the ones who have purchased error [in exchange] for guidance, so their transaction has brought no profit, nor were they guided."

But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allāh intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,

[15]- Literally, "above it," i.e., greater in smallness.

As for the disbelievers, they mockingly ask one another why Allah uses examples with lowly creatures, such as mosquitos, flies, and spiders. Allah replies that guidance, direction, and a test for people lie in these examples. There are many whom Allah will misguide through these examples because they refuse to ponder them. Likewise, He will guide many along the right path because they take lessons from them. He does not misguide anyone except those who deserve misguidance. They are those who stray far from obedience to Him, such as the hypocrites.

-"And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion." So their Lord inspired to them, "We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.

-And We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them. That is for he who fears My position and fears My threat."

-And they requested decision [i.e., victory from Allāh], and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant.

-Before him is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water.

-He will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment.

-The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error.

-Have you not seen [i.e., considered] that Allāh created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can do away with you and produce a new creation.

-And that is not difficult for Allāh.

-"If there were numerous deities in the heavens and the Earth, they would have been ruined due to the deities disputing their sovereignty. But the reality is not like this. Allah, Lord of the Throne, is free from the lie the polytheists describe Him with, namely that He has partners.

-And Allah is unique in His dominion and decree. Nobody can question Him regarding what He has decreed and ordered, while He will ask His slaves about their deeds and recompense them accordingly.

-But they took other deities besides Allah. O Messenger, tell these polytheists: Bring your proof that these deities are worthy of worship. This book which has been revealed to me and the books revealed to the [previous] messengers contain no proof of that.
Instead, most polytheists only rely on ignorance and blind following. They turn away from accepting the truth.

-And We have not sent any messenger before you, O Messenger, except that We have revealed to him that there is no true deity except Me, so worship Me alone and do not associate any partner with Me.

-The polytheists said that Allah has taken the angels as daughters. He (may He be Exalted) is free and sanctified from the lie they tell. The angels are the slaves of Allah, honored by Him and close to Him.

-"And We did not create the heavens and the Earth, and whatever is in between in vain. Instead, We created them to prove Our power.

-If We wanted to take a partner or child, We would have done so on Our part. But, We did not do this as We are free from this.

-Instead, We throw the truth which We reveal to Our messengers at the falsehood of the disbelievers, and [the truth] destroys it, so their falsehood goes and disappears. And for you, O you who say Allah has taken a wife or son, is destruction, due to you describing Him with that which does not befit Him.

-After mentioning how the taking of a spouse or child indicates insufficiency, Allah, the Exalted and Transcendent, explains that He is the Owner of this universe, stating: <br/> And to Him alone belongs the dominion of the heavens and Earth. And the angels with Him are neither too arrogant to worship Him, nor do they tire.

-They constantly exalt Allah and are not bored of doing so.

-But, the polytheists took deities besides Allah, which cannot revive the dead, so how do they worship something unable to do this?

-"So exalt Allah when night enters, the time of the Maghrib and Isha prayers, and exalt Him when morning enters, the time of the Fajr prayer.

-To Allah (may He be Exalted) belongs all praise; the angels praise Him in the heavens, and His creation praise Him on Earth. Exalt Him when the evening enters, which is the time of the 'Asr prayer, and exalt Him at the time of Zuhr.

-He brings out life from the dead, like His creation of a human from a drop of semen and a chick from an egg. He also brings out life from the living, like His extracting a drop of semen from a human and an egg from a chicken. He revives the earth after it has become dry by sending down rain and regrowing it. Likewise, you will be resurrected from your graves for the final reckoning and recompense.

-Among Allah's great signs, which prove His omnipotence and oneness, is that He created you, O people, from the Earth when He created your father from clay, and then you soon became many humans, increasing through reproduction and spreading over the Earth's east and west.

-"As for the people of Hūd, 'Ād, together with their disbelief in Allah, they displayed excessive arrogance on Earth and oppressed those around them. Having been deceived by their own strength, they said: Who is there that is stronger than us?
They assumed that no one was stronger than them, so Allah replied to them: Do these people not know and see that the One who created them and gave them the strength that made them rebellious is stronger than them?
They would reject the signs of Allah that Hūd (peace be upon him) brought to them.

-So We sent them a severe wind with a terrifying noise on days that were unfortunate due to the punishment that came to them. So that We may make them suffer humiliation and disgrace in this world, and indeed, the punishment of the Hereafter that awaits them is more humiliating for them. They will not find anyone to help save them from the punishment.

-As for the people of Saleh, the Thamūd, We guided them by making the path of truth clear to them, but they preferred deviance over guidance to the truth. Hence, the blast of humiliating punishment annihilated them because of the disbelief and sins they would commit.

-And We saved those who believed in Allah and His messengers and feared Allah by complying with His commands and avoiding His prohibitions. And We rescued them from the punishment that came upon their people.

- Whoever calls upon another god besides Allah for which he has no proof for worship (and this is the case with every god besides Allah), the recompense of his bad action is with his Lord (may He be Exalted), as He is the One who will hold him to account by punishing him. The disbelievers will not attain what they desire or be saved from what they fear.

- And say, O Messenger: My Lord, forgive my sins and have mercy on me. You are the best in showing mercy toward the one with sins, and then you accept his repentance.

-"Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allāh and from prayer. So will you not desist?

-And obey Allāh and obey the Messenger and beware. And if you turn away - then know that upon Our Messenger is only [the responsibility for] clear notification.

-There is not upon those who believe and do righteousness [any] blame concerning what they have eaten [in the past] if they [now] fear Allāh and believe and do righteous deeds, and then fear Allāh and believe, and then fear Allāh and do good; and Allāh loves the doers of good.

-O you who have believed, Allāh will surely test you through something of the game that your hands and spears [can] reach, that Allāh may make evident those who fear Him unseen. And whoever transgresses after that - for him is a painful punishment.

O you who have believed, do not kill game while you are in the state of iḥrām. And whoever of you kills it intentionally - the penalty is an equivalent from sacrificial animals to what he killed, as judged by two just men among you as an offering [to Allāh] delivered to the Kaʿbah, or an expiation: the feeding of needy people or the equivalent of that in fasting, that he may taste the consequence of his matter [i.e., deed]. Allāh has pardoned what is past; but whoever returns [to violation], then Allāh will take retribution from him. And Allāh is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution.

-"And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allāh has revealed and to the Messenger," they say, "Sufficient for us is that upon which we found our fathers." Even though their fathers knew nothing, nor were they guided?

-O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To Allāh is your return all together; then He will inform you of what you used to do.

-O you who have believed, testimony [should be taken] among you when death approaches one of you at the time of bequest - [that of] two just men from among you or two others from outside if you are traveling through the land and the disaster of death should strike you. Detain them after the prayer and let them both swear by Allāh if you doubt [their testimony, saying], "We will not exchange it [i.e., our oath] for a price [i.e., worldly gain], even if he should be a near relative, and we will not withhold the testimony of [i.e., ordained by] Allāh. Indeed, we would then be of the sinful."

-But if it is found that those two were guilty of sin [i.e., perjury], let two others stand in their place [who are] foremost [in claim] from those who have a lawful right. And let them swear by Allāh, "Our testimony is truer than their testimony, and we have not transgressed. Indeed, we would then be of the wrongdoers."

-That is more likely that they will give testimony according to its [true] objective, or [at least] they would fear that [other] oaths might be taken after their oaths. And fear Allāh and listen [i.e., obey Him]; and Allāh does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.

He alone is sovereign over the heavens and the earth. No one can intercede before Him without His permission and acceptance. He knows the affairs of His creation in the past and what will happen to them in the future. The creation cannot encompass His knowledge unless He wills to reveal it to them. His Kursi [footstool] encompasses the vastness of the heavens and the earth. It is neither difficult nor overbearing for Him to preserve the heavens and the earth. He is Exalted in His essence, attributes, and control. He is the Greatest in His dominion and authority.

#Listen_to_Quran

▪️Translation of the meanings Ayah: (80-86) Surah: Al-Hijr

-"And certainly did the companions of al-Ḥijr [i.e., the Thamūd] deny the messengers.

-And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away.

-And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure.

-But the shriek seized them at early morning,

-So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn.

-And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness.

-Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator."

▪️Translation of the meanings Ayah: (26-31) Surah: Al-Hijr

-"And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.

-And the jinn We created before from scorching fire.

-And [mention, O Muḥammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud.

-And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."

-So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely,

-Except Iblees; he refused to be with those who prostrated.

▪️Translation of the meanings Ayah: (18 - 30) Surah: Al-Muddaththir

-"Indeed, he thought and deliberated.

-So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated.

-Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated.

-Then he considered [again];

-Then he frowned and scowled;

-Then he turned back and was arrogant.

-And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others].

-This is not but the word of a human being."

-I will drive him into Saqar.

-And what can make you know what is Saqar?

-It lets nothing remain and leaves nothing [unburned],

-Altering [i.e., blackening] the skins.

-Over it are nineteen [angels]."
