We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fleet and General Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary:
The Fleet and General Procurement Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of vehicles, spare parts, office supplies, and other company needs. This role involves managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, handling logistics, and ensuring the seamless integration of ERP systems in procurement processes. The candidate will also be responsible for managing the sale of scrap spare parts and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fleet and Spare Parts Procurement:
• Oversee the purchasing of cars, buses, trailers, trucks, and their spare parts, ensuring they meet quality and cost standards.
• Maintain and build relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery schedules.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with the maintenance team to forecast parts requirements.
• General Office and Accommodation Procurement:
• Manage the purchasing of office equipment, supplies, and other administrative needs.
• Procure accommodation facilities for employees as required, ensuring they meet company standards and budget.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand and fulfill their procurement requirements efficiently.
• Logistics Management:
• Coordinate logistics for fleet and office supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions.
• Monitor the supply chain for efficiency and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Scrap Sales Management:
• Evaluate and manage the sale of scrap spare parts, vehicles, and other equipment to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate assessment and disposal of assets.
• ERP System Integration:
• Utilize the company’s ERP system to manage procurement processes, inventory, and supplier databases.
• Generate reports and analyze data to provide insights and drive continuous improvement in procurement activities.
• Ensure all procurement processes are accurately recorded and tracked within the ERP system.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience in procurement, with a focus on fleet management and logistics.
• ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of the automotive industry and spare parts management is a plus.
