1 Corinthians 13:4 (KJV): Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

FAMILY SERIES: YOUR SPOUSE’S WEAKNESSES

As a married couple, one of the key truths you must settle in your heart is that neither of you has the power to change the other.

There will be habits of your spouse that require you to exercise patience while God works on them.

For instance, if your spouse does not behave in the manner you expect—such as not praying as you would want them to—it is your responsibility to focus on doing your part: pray.

Do not allow yourself to become overly consumed by your partner's weaknesses; doing so is a sign of immaturity. Some people are so fixated on their spouse's shortcomings that they fail to see anything else worth preserving in their marriage.

Refusing to let yourself be consumed by these weaknesses will help you in two significant ways: It will make forgiveness much easier and it will aid your healing when you are hurt.

The change in your spouse may take time—perhaps a year, five years, ten years, or even twenty years. But if you have settled in your heart that it is God’s responsibility, not yours, to change them, He will grant you joy and a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Always remember: you only have power over yourself, not over your spouse. Let God handle them and bring about the changes He deems necessary. Regardless of their state, God remains faithful. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Peter 4:8; Proverbs 10:12

GOLDEN NUGGET: As a married couple, one of the key truths you must settle in your heart is that neither of you has the power to change the other. There will be habits of your spouse that require you to exercise patience while God works on them.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the precious and priceless gift of marriage. Your Word declares that marriage is honorable in all. I choose to handle my partner's weaknesses with love and wisdom, covering them and refusing to expose them or bleed on those who did not hurt me. With patient endurance, I commit to praying for them, knowing that You are working in them daily and that You cannot fail. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Greater Covenant

2 Corinthians 3:7-8 (KJV): But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

A GREATER COVENANT

The old covenant had its own glory, as seen in the marvelous works performed by the great men and women of old.

For example, Joshua commanded the sun and moon to stand still (Joshua 10:12–13). Moses parted the sea (Exodus 14:21–22), and struck a rock to bring forth water (Numbers 20:11). Elijah commanded the rain to cease (1 Kings 17:1), and Elisha caused an axe head to float (2 Kings 6:1–6).

These men, operating under an inferior covenant, still manifested the glory of God.

But the Bible poses this question: How shall not the ministration of the Spirit, the covenant under which we are, be more glorious?

The Bible also reveals that Abraham saw the day of Christ and rejoiced (John 8:56). Why did he rejoice? Because, despite the great things God accomplished through him, he understood that those who would come after him under the New Covenant would be better, wiser, and greater.

This truth should shape the prayer life of every believer.

Approach God with the consciousness that you are called to do even greater works than Elijah, Moses, Joshua, and all the great men of old. This is the essence of the New Covenant. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 8:6; Hebrews 7:22

GOLDEN NUGGET: Approach God with the consciousness that you are called to do even greater works than Elijah, Moses, Joshua, and all the great men of old. This is the essence of the New Covenant.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. What a privilege and grace it is to understand the dispensation in which I live and the covenant under which I operate. Your Word declares that this covenant is built on better promises. This truth gives me the boldness to walk in power and to demonstrate Your Spirit more than ever before. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Of Dreams

2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV): And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

OF DREAMS

Not all dreams are from God. Some people place undue significance on every dream they have, mistakenly believing that every dream must be divinely inspired. As a result, some have broken marriages, abandoned business partners, or rejected godly opportunities because of dreams.

Before interpreting a dream, you must first discern whether it is from God, from the devil, or simply the product of a busy mind.

God has spoken to men through dreams on many occasions. For example, He spoke to Abimelech in a dream (Genesis 20:3), to Joseph (Matthew 2:13), and in Acts 2:17, He promises that old men will dream dreams.

However, the Bible also says in Ecclesiastes 5:3 that dreams can come through the multitude of business. Similarly, in Isaiah 29:8, the Bible describes a hungry man dreaming that he is eating and a thirsty man dreaming that he is drinking. This demonstrates how the preoccupations of the mind can manifest as dreams.

An example of a dream from the devil can be found in Job 4:13–21. A spirit appeared to Eliphaz. He recounted and said, "In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men, Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake. Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up..."

This spirit in Eliphaz's dream even imparted counsel, but it was not from God. Our theme scripture reveals that the devil can transform himself into an angel of light. This deception can also occur in dreams, misleading the undiscerning.

Before seeking interpretation, discern. Allow the Holy Spirit within you to reveal the source of the dream. Once you know the source, you will know how to proceed. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Numbers 12:6; Genesis 41:25.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Before interpreting a dream, you must first discern whether it is from God, from the devil, or simply the product of a busy mind.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You that my dream world is not only active but also consecrated. The devil has no control over my dreams—only You do. I have the wisdom to discern the source of my dreams and respond according to Your guidance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bold In Spirit

Hebrews 10:35 (KJV): Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

BOLD IN SPIRIT

In our theme scripture, the word translated as "confidence" is parrésia, which also means boldness.

God has called His children to be bold, fearless, and daring. Yet, many Christians today struggle with timidity.

They shrink back in the face of sickness, demonic affliction, or persecution. However, living an effective Christian life requires a certain confidence—a boldness that anchors your walk of salvation.

We are called to confront and overcome every challenge with courage. Whether it is our ministries, children, businesses, marriages, or careers, we are bold enough to put the devil in his place whenever he dares to interfere.

Our theme scripture reminds us that this boldness is not without reward; it carries great recompense.

It took boldness for Peter and John to pray for the lame man at the temple gate (Acts 3:1-9). It took boldness for Joshua to command the sun and moon to stand still (Joshua 10:12-14).

As a child of God, practice boldness daily. Greatness and glory reside in the realm of the bold. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 4:16; Philippians 1:28

GOLDEN NUGGET: As a child of God, practice boldness daily. Greatness and glory reside in the realm of the bold.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. I am grateful that the Greater One lives in me. I refuse to be intimidated by the devil or his schemes. I am bold in spirit, unwavering in faith, and confident in Your power at work within me. By this boldness, I leap over walls and run through troops, all for the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Called To Increase And Grow

Isaiah 53:2 (KJV): For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

CALLED TO INCREASE AND GROW

It is the Father’s deep and abiding desire for His children to experience continuous increase, regardless of their circumstances.

This beautiful truth is clearly illustrated in Job 8:7 (NLT), which says, "And though you started with little, you will end with much." The King James Version translates it as, "Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase."

Our theme scripture refers to Christ, and what is most remarkable about it is the description of Him as a root out of dry ground. The Hebrew word for dry in this context is tsiyah, meaning wasteland or desert.

The ground from which the Lord grew was not favorable—He was not born into ideal circumstances. His earthly parents were poor, and He was from Nazareth, a place of which people famously asked, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” (John 1:46).

Yet, despite such humble beginnings, Christ flourished.

In the same way, you are called to a life of increase, even when everything around you suggests otherwise.

Your friends and family may doubt your potential, your financial situation may seem bleak, and you may not come from a noble or privileged background. But God has promised that a root can grow out of dry ground!

Take heart! Things may seem difficult, but you are growing. Life may appear to be working against you, but you are increasing. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Job 42:12-13; Proverbs 4:18

GOLDEN NUGGET: You have been called to a life of increase, even when everything around you suggests otherwise. Your friends and family may doubt your potential, your financial situation may seem bleak, and you may not come from a noble or privileged background. But God has promised that a root can grow out of dry ground!

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. You are my firm foundation, and I stand upon no other. I look to the future with joy and gratitude, knowing that the longer I live, the brighter I shine. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Proverbs 22:29 (KJV): Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES SERIES: A DILIGENT SPIRIT

I have heard some people complain about the kind of people around them. They claim that everyone they deal with seems to take advantage of them or rob them.

This should not be so. The nature of the people around you often says a lot about your own character.

Our theme scripture reveals that if a man is diligent, he stands before kings. This means that diligence attracts certain kinds of people into your sphere of influence.

However, if you fail to cultivate a spirit of diligence, you may find yourself surrounded by people of questionable character.

If you are wondering how to develop diligence, here is an important pointer: One of the fundamental pillars of diligence is self-discipline. Learn to tame yourself and exercise self-control in key areas of your life, such as managing time, your appetite, relationships, attitude toward learning and knowledge, and even sleep.

When you live by the principles of diligence, even the nature of your inner circle will begin to change. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 10:4; Proverbs 12:24

GOLDEN NUGGET: Diligence attracts certain kinds of people into your sphere of influence. However, if you fail to cultivate a spirit of diligence, you may find yourself surrounded by people of questionable character.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for refining my character and teaching me the ways of wisdom. I am diligent in spirit and exercise self-control in all areas of my life. The fruit of this self-discipline is evident in my dealings. Because of my diligence, kings and great people are drawn to me, all to the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Precious Faith

Phaneroo Devotion 📃

05 Feb, 21:26

PHANEROO~DEVOTION

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Peter 1:1 (KJV): Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

PRECIOUS FAITH

Faith is exceedingly precious to God. The Bible teaches that without faith, it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6).

The Greek word for precious used in our theme scripture is isotimos, whose root translates to mean honor or value. This reveals that God honors a person who chooses to believe in Him.

When the Bible speaks of God honoring His servants, it is not simply because they are anointed or serve Him, but because they have chosen to trust Him.

Why is faith so precious?

Faith is the law by which we are saved. The Bible says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8).

Faith is the principle by which believers are called to live. "The just shall live by faith" (Hebrews 10:38).

By faith, we receive the righteousness of God. "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe" (Romans 3:22).

Faith is our response to God's grace, the foundation of our relationship with Him, and the key to accessing His promises. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 2:8; Hebrews 11:6

GOLDEN NUGGET: Faith is our response to God's grace, the foundation of our relationship with Him, and the key to accessing His promises.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I trust You wholly in every circumstance of my life. You are my beginning and my end, my foundation and strength. I choose to stretch my faith daily and make room in my spirit for great and impossible things because I know that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that I hope or expect. Family Series: Renovation VS Maintenance Of Marriage

Phaneroo Devotion 📃

PHANEROO~DEVOTION

Apostle Grace Lubega

Song of Solomon 2:15 (KJV): "Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes."

FAMILY SERIES: RENOVATION VS MAINTENANCE OF MARRIAGE

There are two kinds of couples in marriage: those who have mastered the art of daily maintenance in their relationships and those who are a disaster waiting to happen, requiring major renovations in their marriages.

What does this mean?

Consider the analogy of a house. You may notice a leaking tap in your kitchen, a broken gutter, or a damaged door. You can choose to address these issues as soon as they arise. Alternatively, you might ignore them, allowing the problems to accumulate until the house requires an extensive and costly renovation.

The same applies to marriage.

Often, when things appear to be fine, we tend to overlook the small issues because some aspects of the relationship are still functioning well. For instance, you might take comfort in having a roof over your head and ignore the leaking taps or broken doors.

If you consistently neglect the small things that need fixing and only focus on what still seems functional, you may one day wake up to discover that your marriage is in need of significant and costly repairs.

Renovations can be very expensive—sometimes even more costly than the original investment in the house. Some couples, overwhelmed by the cost, may consider moving to a "new house" (divorce or separation), while others struggle to gather the resources to restore the old one. As a couple, you must decide early—ideally from day one of your marriage—to prioritize maintenance over renovation. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 13:4; Genesis 2:24

GOLDEN NUGGET: As a couple, you must make the choice, especially from day one of your marriage, to prioritize maintenance over renovation.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word and for the precious gift of marriage. Your Word says that marriage is honorable in all things. Grant me the wisdom to recognize what needs to be addressed in my marriage and the discernment to deal with it at the right time. May I not overlook the small issues or allow little foxes to spoil the vine. Thank You for the grace to nurture my marriage with diligence and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Trial Of Your Faith III

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 4:17 (KJV): "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;"

THE TRIAL OF YOUR FAITH III

Every trial of your faith is preparation for your next level.

God allows your faith to be tested not just to measure your endurance but because He desires to promote and elevate you to higher realms of responsibility, grace, and power.

When speaking to Simon about his test, Jesus said, "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers" (Luke 22:31-32 NLT). This test positioned Simon to become a source of strength for his brethren.

Similarly, after Abraham was tested with the command to sacrifice his son, the Lord declared,
"By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;" (Genesis 22:16-17).

Whenever you find yourself in a trial or tough situation that challenges your faith, rejoice in what lies ahead. Understand that you are about to be elevated to a new level and experience greater glory.

Do not cower in self-pity. Instead, laugh at the situation and say, "Oh, Lord, I thank You for the amazing things You have in store for me. This situation is only temporary. I expect a far greater weight of glory—more increase, more favor, and greater expansion. Hallelujah!" That is the mindset of a believer!

FURTHER STUDY: Luke 22:31-32; Genesis 22:16-17

GOLDEN NUGGET: Every trial of your faith is preparation for your next level.

PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the boldness to face every situation without fear. No matter what I encounter, I know who is in charge. I am excited about the days ahead. I see promotion, success, favor, and supernatural opportunities. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Matthew 14:29-32 (KJV): And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

THE TRIAL OF YOUR FAITH II

Our theme scripture highlights Peter doing the seemingly impossible: walking on water. Notice that when he first stepped out of the boat, he walked on water. Even when unbelief caused him to begin sinking, the Lord steadied him, and together they walked on water back to the boat!

When Jesus and Peter returned to the boat, the Bible says the wind ceased.

Let me reveal a mystery to you. The Greek word for ceased in this scripture is kopazo, meaning "to grow weary or tired." Essentially, the wind grew weary and tired.

What is God teaching us here?

Child of God, you can tire the devil. If you know how to fight in faith, you can frustrate him until he grows weary.

The devil may apply pressure and throw every obstacle in your path, but you must never give up. Persist in your trust in the Lord! If it’s pain, when the devil intensifies it, increase your endurance. If it’s a challenge in your career, business, or ministry, and the situation worsens, toughen up and expect better days.

I have said this before, and I will say it again: the devil may fight hard, but he cannot fight for long. You, on the other hand, have divine tenacity to endure and prevail. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 5:3; James 1:2-3

GOLDEN NUGGET: If you know how to fight in faith, you can frustrate the devil until he gets weary. The devil may fight hard, but he cannot fight for long. You, on the other hand, have the divine tenacity to endure and prevail.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Your Word says that this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. I do not draw back, give up, or give in. I am a warrior in spirit, and I know how to fight until the end. No demon in hell can intimidate me because the Greater One lives in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

THE TRIAL OF YOUR FAITH I

Have you ever wondered why Jesus did not rebuke the wind in our theme scripture? He had done it before, as we learn from Mark 4:39. But in this particular instance, He did not calm the sea.

There are winds that God does not rebuke because they are necessary for the trial of your faith. These winds often test those who dare to step out in faith—like Peter, who walked on water.

What you need is the wisdom to discern that this type of wind is not meant to be rebuked. Instead, your role is to fix your eyes on the Lord who said, "Come."

Today's devotion speaks to the man or woman who started a business or project against all odds, only to face challenges that seem determined to shake their confidence.

It speaks to the Christian who dared to believe and took steps others might consider foolish; the believer who gave to God despite having little; the one who served faithfully even when everything in them wanted to give up.

You stepped out in faith, and now it feels like the winds are trying to prove you wrong. Perhaps those still in the "boat" are mocking your boldness.

Keep your eyes on the Lord! You shall not sink! The winds are only temporary. Your victory is just around the corner. In a short while, you will be counted among those who walk on water, leap over walls, and achieve the impossible. Hallelujah!

Psalm 37:4 (KJV): Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

DELIGHT IN THE LORD

The Hebrew word for delight in our theme scripture is ‘anag, which also means to be soft or pliable.

This reveals the true essence of delighting in the Lord—it requires flexibility and a willingness to be molded by Him.

Examine your life. How malleable are you?

Are you the kind of Christian who resists God's leading because it seems inconvenient?

Do you only allow Him to work through you when it fits within your schedules and plans?

Today's devotion is an invitation to a life that truly delights in God. This comes by cultivating an intimate relationship with Him. To delight in Him means to be consistently yielded, allowing Him to shape you according to His will and purposes.

Make yourself available to Him in every season. Be the kind of Christian who remains committed to God both in times of hardship and in times of ease. Hallelujah!

Genesis 37:18-20 (KJV): And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES SERIES: SAFEGUARDING DREAMS

It is one thing to have a dream, but it is another to possess the power to interpret it.

In the Bible, Daniel exemplifies a man who had the ability both to dream and to interpret. When Nebuchadnezzar dreamt and forgot his dream, Daniel accessed the spirit realm, retrieved the dream, narrated it to the king, and provided its interpretation (Daniel 2:1-49).

Joseph, on the other hand, was gifted with the power to interpret the dreams of others, such as Pharaoh. Because of his ability to interpret Pharaoh's dream, Joseph was made governor over Egypt (Genesis 41:39-44).

However, just as there are people who can interpret your dream, there are also those who can destroy it. This was the case with Joseph’s brothers, as seen in our theme scripture.

What, then, is the lesson here? You must be cautious about who you share your dreams with, especially when they are still in their early stages—mere concepts.

Have you ever shared a project idea with someone while it was still in its infancy, only for it to die shortly afterward? Or had an idea that seemed promising but, the moment you shared it with certain individuals, it was aborted?

You must not discuss your dreams with just anyone who is willing to listen. Instead, submit your dream or idea to someone with the wisdom and ability to guide you and help bring it to fruition. What you must avoid is indiscriminately sharing your dreams with the wrong people. This is one of the key principles for safeguarding your dreams.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 12:23; Daniel 2:1-49

GOLDEN NUGGET: You must not discuss your dreams with just anyone who is willing to listen. Instead, submit your dream or idea to someone with the wisdom and ability to guide you and help bring it to fruition. What you must avoid is indiscriminately sharing your dreams with the wrong people. This is one of the key principles for safeguarding your dreams.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. I know it is Your desire for me to excel and manifest the great ideas You have placed in my spirit. You have given me the wisdom to discern whom I can trust with my dreams and whom I should not share them with. The wicked and unreasonable who seek to destroy and kill them are far from me. I am surrounded by destiny helpers who can interpret and support the dreams You have given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Mark 16:17-19 (KJV): And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

OUR SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE

Our theme scripture is very significant because it reveals some of Jesus' last words before He ascended into glory.

Jesus left believers with a great commission: to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). He knew this mandate was not something one could accomplish in their natural ability. As such, He endowed believers with supernatural abilities—one of which is the gift of speaking in tongues.

As a believer, you are an ambassador of heaven to the nations. How can you stand in such a privileged position yet not know the language of the jurisdiction you represent? Imagine a foreign diplomat who cannot speak any language from their home country. That would be strange, to say the least. Likewise, it is equally unusual for a Christian not to speak in tongues, for tongues are a heavenly language.

Peter's first notable sermon, which led to the conversion of about three thousand souls, began after this experience (Acts 2:41). The disciples were only able to move from Jerusalem to Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth after this encounter (Acts 1:8).

All of this demonstrates that, to be an effective minister, you need the gift of tongues. Tongues build you up in the spirit and enable you to pray according to God’s will because it is the Spirit praying through you. Take time to understand what speaking in tongues does for your spirit. If the Bible says they edify you (1 Corinthians 14:4), what does that mean? Tongues have degrees—learn about these as well and how to operate in them. Go even further and ask God for the gift of interpretation, for it is also available to you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 14:2; Acts 2:4

GOLDEN NUGGET: To be an effective minister, you need the gift of tongues. Tongues build you up in the spirit and enable you to pray according to God’s will because it is the Spirit praying through you.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. The Bible says that the disciples spoke as the Spirit gave them utterance. I embrace a lifestyle of praying in tongues—building, repairing, and edifying myself through Your Spirit. As I do, I am sharpened in my service to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Wisdom And Grace To Find

Ecclesiastes 1:9 (KJV): The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

THE WISDOM AND GRACE TO FIND

There is nothing new under the sun. Everything has existed before, and men are merely discovering what already exists.

All groundbreaking innovations and technologies already exist in the spiritual realm, awaiting discovery by someone who can tap into them and bring them into physical manifestation.

Those who are truly successful are the ones who, by God's grace, know how to find what is already available.

The Bible asks in Romans 4:1, “What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?” Justification by faith was an already existing reality as seen in Hebrews 11:7 but Abraham had to find it.

Similarly, even the words men and women of God minister to you must be found. Proverbs 4:20-22 says: “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that FIND them, and health to all their flesh.”

When you understand this wisdom, your prayers will change. Instead of praying, “God, give me a job, a business deal, or a few thousand dollars,” you will pray, “God, help me find what the world needs.”

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 4:1; Proverbs 4:20-22

GOLDEN NUGGET: There is nothing new under the sun. Everything has existed before, and men are merely discovering what already exists.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. Today, You have opened my eyes to see life through a new perspective. I recognize the vastness of what is available for me to discover. I connect to the power that translates spiritual realities into the physical realm. By this wisdom, I provide solutions to things that seem impossible. I design and execute ideas that no eye has seen, ear has heard, or mind has imagined. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Matthew 15:14 (KJV): “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS II

Spiritual blindness can also stem from following blind guides.

I have seen Christians “fall into ditches” because they listened to someone who had poor spiritual sight.

I once shared the story of a woman who had a dream about her wedding but, in the dream, she could not see the face of her groom. When she sought the interpretation of the dream from a man of God, he told her it meant she was about to die and should put her house in order. She believed this word, and a few years later, she succumbed to cancer.

This tragic incident is a sobering example of a blind woman following a blind man.

This issue extends to doctrine as well. Many people remain blind to the truths of the scriptures because of the teachings they have followed for years. Often, their teachers lacked the proper revelation of certain truths, and their followers accepted the teachings without ever searching the scriptures for themselves.

Malachi 2:8 speaks of priests who caused many to stumble by their instructions. This happened then, and it continues to happen today.

For this reason, the importance of reading the Bible for yourself cannot be overstated. Submitting to a sound teacher of the Word is crucial, but it is not enough. You must adopt the Berean spirit—returning to what has been taught, digging deeper for more enlightenment, and allowing God to reveal the full counsel of the Word you have received.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 23:16-24; Malachi 2:8

GOLDEN NUGGET: Spiritual blindness can also stem from following blind guides. While it is important to submit yourself to a sound teacher of the Word, it is not enough. You must adopt the Berean spirit—returning to what has been taught, digging deeper for more enlightenment, and allowing God to reveal the full counsel of the Word you have received.

PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this Word. I am grateful for the precious Holy Spirit, who leads me into all truth. You have placed sound ministers in my life to teach me, but Lord, help me to cultivate the discipline of personal study of Your Word. May the Spirit of revelation work mightily in me, opening the eyes of my understanding to comprehend Your deep truths. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV): In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS I

Spiritual blindness manifests in many forms.

One of these occurs when the Word of God is veiled. There are truths God expects you to see through the scriptures when you read them, but spiritual blindness can prevent this understanding.

This type of blindness is evident in people who struggle to understand the Bible. I have heard Christians complain that the Bible is too difficult to comprehend. Some even dismiss and reject its truths because of this. What many fail to realize is that they are dealing with a form of spiritual blindness. Rather than reject God’s Word, your prayer should be for God to open your eyes. This was David’s prayer in Psalm 119:18, where he said, “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.”

Another aspect of spiritual blindness is the inability to discern God’s specific message for your life through the scriptures. The Bible is not just a general text—it is a blueprint for your individual future.

You do not necessarily need a prophet to reveal things specific to your life. Hebrews 1:1-2 tells us that in the past, God spoke to our fathers through prophets, but in these last days, He speaks to us through His Son.

It takes spiritual sight to recognize your unique message in the words spoken by Jesus. What may seem like a general scripture can, through divine revelation, reveal personal insights about your journey, destiny, and mandate. Pray for God to open your eyes to see these wondrous truths. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 119:18; Ephesians 1:18

GOLDEN NUGGET: Rather than reject God’s Word as difficult to understand, your prayer should be for God to open your eyes. This was David’s prayer in Psalm 119:18, where he said, “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.”

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. The Bible calls me to live and walk in the Spirit, and I cannot do that while spiritually blind. Today, You open my eyes to see what I could not see before. For the things I can already see, I thank You for sharpening my vision so I perceive them with even greater clarity. I rejoice in Your Word as one who has found treasure because my spiritual sight is clear. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES SERIES: ABUNDANCE MINDSET

One of the secrets to building wealth in God's way is to adopt an abundance mindset.

By nature, the world approaches wealth from a scarcity mindset. This is the foundation of how we view economics, which is, after all, the study of how people distribute scarce resources.

But God repeatedly demonstrates that He does not operate from a position of scarcity.

In our theme scripture, when Jesus told Peter to cast a hook and retrieve a coin from the mouth of a fish, it’s important to note that this coin was not part of Caesar’s economy.

What message was God communicating through this event?

He was showing believers that He operates above human resources and budgets. What people consider scarce is never scarce in the eyes of God. He can provide what has not been accounted for by human analytics or statistics.

As a child of God, this is the same attitude you must cultivate. View wealth through the lens of God’s infinite provision rather than as something you must struggle to build with the limited resources available in the world.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 3:20; Joshua 24:13

GOLDEN NUGGET: View wealth through the lens of God’s infinite provision rather than as something you must struggle to build with the limited resources available in the world.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Your Word declares that You are the Lord who teaches us how to make wealth. I am an attentive student of Your principles. Today, all strongholds of lack and scarcity in my life are destroyed. I lift my eyes above the limitations of this world’s resources and trust in You, who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that I hope or expect. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When You Should Be Teachers

Phaneroo Devotion 📃

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 5:12 (KJV): For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

WHEN YOU SHOULD BE TEACHERS

For all the knowledge you receive, there is an expectation for you to grow. If you have been listening to the Word for a certain period of time, it is expected that you should have reached a specific level of maturity.

Unfortunately, this is not always the case. The fact that someone has been hearing God’s Word for years does not guarantee that they will grow in proportion to the Word they have received. This was Paul’s disappointment when addressing the Hebrews in our theme scripture. Considering all they had been taught, he expected them to be teachers. Instead, he found them to be as babes, needing to be taught again the first principles of the oracles of God.

How does such stagnation in the Christian faith happen?

Primarily, it comes down to a matter of choice. Through their attitude toward God’s Word and His instructions, some people choose to remain spiritual infants even when they should have grown into teachers. I know people who have listened to countless sermons and teachings but have not grown. Why? For them, the sermon is primarily just information. But that is not how the Word is meant to be received. The Word must be embraced as though God Himself is speaking directly into your destiny. It deserves your full attention and requires deliberate alignment with its principles.

There are certain traits that should not be present in the life of a mature believer—strife, jealousy, and gossip, for example. When Paul encountered such behaviors in the Corinthian church, he said: “But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?” (1 Corinthians 3:1-3 ESV). At a certain stage of faith, you should no longer need to be told that certain conversations or behaviors are not for you. If this is still the case, it may be that you have chosen to remain a babe at a time when you should be a teacher.

FURTHER STUDY: Luke 12:48; Hebrews 6:1

GOLDEN NUGGET: For all the knowledge you receive, there is an expectation for you to grow. If you have been listening to the Word for a specific period of time, it is also expected that you should have reached a specific level of maturity.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this wisdom. I receive it with humility as another building block for my spiritual growth. May I never receive Your Word in vain but give it all the attention it deserves because it is the Word of life. Help me to be quick in obeying Your instructions so that I may continually grow into maturity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

1 Timothy 3:2-5 (KJV): A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

FAMILY SERIES: THE MINISTRY OF PARENTING

Parenting is not just a duty—in the eyes of God, it is a ministry.

The importance God places on parenting is so profound that He made it a qualification for anyone aspiring to serve as a minister in His house.

Our theme scripture reveals that for one to be a bishop, they must rule their own household well. The New Living Translation puts it this way: “He must manage his family well, having children who respect and obey him.”

One of the mistakes made by some men and women of God is to dedicate themselves entirely to the service of God while neglecting their duty to their children.

However, this principle does not apply only to preachers—it extends to all believers. How can you worship God yet fail to lead your children? After all, He is the God of family. How can you serve the Lord but be unable to keep your children under control?

Because parenting is a ministry, I encourage those who are able to extend their love and care beyond their biological children. If you have the means, consider raising a less fortunate child, such as an orphan who lacks a guiding authority in their life. Ask God to give you the grace and opportunity to be that figure.

Parenting is a divine calling. Children are not just blessings but opportunities for parents to make the world a better place by raising them in the ways of God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Samuel 3:13; Proverbs 23:13-14

GOLDEN NUGGET: Parenting is not just a duty—in the eyes of God, it is a ministry.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word and the privilege to raise children in the ways of Your truth. I take this responsibility with the seriousness it deserves, always looking to You as the ultimate Father. My children are excellent examples, patterns of godly living to their peers, because I raise them with wisdom and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hebrews 10:16-17 (KJV): This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN

Many people struggle under the weight of past mistakes. They look back at their failures and imagine they are beyond forgiveness. Even believers who have received Jesus Christ sometimes fall into this trap.

But our theme scripture assures us that God does not remember your sins. He meant it when He said it, and you should believe it.

The Greek word for “remember” in our theme scripture is mimnéskó, which means to call to mind, recall, or mention. This means God does not recall your sins, they do not come to His mind, and He never mentions them again.

If you are struggling with self-condemnation because of something in your past, know that this is the work of the devil. Let me tell you today: Satan has no right to bring back what God has already forgotten.

He has no business reminding you of how you missed the mark. In John 10:35, Jesus tells us that “the scriptures cannot be broken”—not by anything, not even by a big mistake. Nothing you have done is bigger than the Word of God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 3:13-14; Jeremiah 31:34

GOLDEN NUGGET: Satan has no right to bring back what God has forgotten. He has no business reminding you of how you missed the mark.

Watch And Pray: The True State Of Your Heart

Revelation 3:1-3 (KJV): And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

WATCH AND PRAY: THE TRUE STATE OF YOUR HEART

One of the key factors that affect how effectively we watch in the spirit is understanding the true state of where we stand with God.

The church at Sardis was rebuked for thinking they were alive while they were, in reality, spiritually dead. The Lord urged them to be watchful and to strengthen what remained, that which was ready to die. If they failed to watch, He warned that He would come upon them like a thief in the night.

Knowing your true state before God is vital to how you watch and then pray because a person who understands their position in Him will pray honestly and sincerely from the heart.

In Luke 18:9-14, Jesus contrasts two individuals: a repentant tax collector and a self-righteous Pharisee. The tax collector had examined the true state of his heart, whereas the Pharisee was blinded by his self-righteousness. The tax collector went home justified before God, while the Pharisee did not.

Acknowledging an issue and taking it before God is far better than believing you are without fault and approaching Him with falsehood in your spirit.

Learn to humble yourself before God, allowing Him to weigh and examine the state of your heart. This humility will empower you to watch effectively, even as you pray.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 139:23; 2 Corinthians 13:5

GOLDEN NUGGET: Learn to humble yourself before God, allowing Him to weigh and examine the state of your heart. This humility will empower you to watch effectively, even as you pray.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the wisdom to watch and the humility to break before You, allowing You to examine my heart. Your Word says that You will not reject a contrite spirit. This is what I bring before You today, trusting that You will deal with me in ways only You can. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Matthew 14:25-29 (KJV): And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

IN OR OUT OF THE BOAT?

Some people choose to only watch others live out their faith. Instead of stepping out themselves, they sit back, observe, and speculate about whether someone will succeed or fail.

This was the case with the disciples who stayed in the boat while Peter stepped out in faith to walk on water. Many people today behave like those disciples, preferring the comfort of being bystanders rather than risking action.

But this should not be you, child of God. Choose to be among those who step out of the boat, trusting in God’s power and promises. Even when you are in a church service and see a minister praying for the sick, don’t just observe, wondering if it will work. Instead, join your faith with theirs and believe.

Never be merely an spectator in matters of faith, be a participant. Hallelujah!

Evening To Morning, Darkness To Light

Phaneroo Devotion 📃

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 1:5 (KJV): And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

EVENING TO MORNING, DARKNESS TO LIGHT I

In God’s pattern of creation, evening came first and then morning, as revealed in our theme scripture. The Bible does not say, “And the morning and the evening were the first day.” God is deliberate about this because He has designed for men to always move from evening into morning—that is, from darkness into light.

However, many people live their lives in reverse. They become comfortable with darkness and are suspicious of light. Anything that seeks to move them from darkness into light is often met with skepticism.

John 3:19 explains this mindset: “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”

This backward mindset also shapes their expectations. They anticipate sickness rather than divine health, failure instead of perpetual success, and worsening circumstances rather than continual improvement. This is the morning-to-evening mindset, where people expect things to move from good to bad.

But God calls us to embrace the evening-to-morning mindset. 1 Peter 2:9 declares: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

You were chosen to show forth God’s praises because He has called you out of darkness into light—out of sickness into health, out of struggle into progress. The world sees that you are different, royal, and called by God when your life continually improves and shines brighter every day.

Wake up each morning expecting better things in every area of your life—relationships, business, career, children, and ministry. Embrace your identity as described in 1 Thessalonians 5:5: “Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 4:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:5

GOLDEN NUGGET: God has designed for men to always move from evening to morning—that is, from darkness into light.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth and for the life of continuous progress You have given me. I can never be stuck in hopelessness or weakness because You have moved me from darkness into light. Today, I expect great things because You load me with benefits every day. We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES SERIES: DISCERNING YOUR NEXT LEVEL

The Lord is a God of times and seasons. In life, it is essential to remain in sync with His timing for your life.

Unfortunately, some people lag behind God’s timing in various areas of their lives—whether in marriage, ministry, business, or career.

Some are fully aware that they are out of sync, while others have no idea that they are falling behind according to heaven’s standards.

In His goodness, God has given us several indicators to help us discern when we are behind schedule.

One such sign is growing weary of a provision that God Himself gave you.

In our theme scripture, the children of Israel became tired of manna. While manna was God’s provision, it was never His original intention for them to rely on it for forty years. Their journey to the Promised Land was supposed to take less than twelve days. Once they arrived, they were meant to enjoy the abundance of the Promised Land.

Feeling such frustration in your life may be an indication that you have remained in a place longer than you should. When you sense this weariness, don’t ignore it. Instead, seek God. Ask Him why you feel this way and inquire about your next step. Discover what you need to do to move to your next level. Praise Him!

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 3:1; Matthew 16:3

GOLDEN NUGGET: One way to discern if you are behind God’s timing is if you find yourself growing weary of a provision that God Himself gave you. Such frustration may be an indication that you have remained in a place longer than you should.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this wisdom. I am sensitive to spiritual timing and keenly aware of the signs of my seasons. May I never ignore the indicators You provide to show when I am behind Your divine calendar. By Your guidance, I will always remain aligned with Your perfect will and never lag behind. 1 Thessalonians 1:5-6 (MSG): When the Message we preached came to you, it wasn't just words. Something happened in you. The Holy Spirit put steel in your convictions. And determined to live that way yourselves. In imitating us, you imitated the Master. Although great trouble accompanied the Word, you were able to take great joy from the Holy Spirit—taking the trouble with the joy, the joy with the trouble.

STEADFAST

Great trouble can accompany the Word after you have received it, as our theme scripture reveals.

For instance, you might get fired right after hearing a sermon declaring that you are a success. You might experience financial loss right after a message reminding you that God is your provider. The symptoms of a disease in your body may worsen after receiving the Word on healing.

Some people give up immediately. They might say, “I think I am in the wrong ministry. This message doesn’t seem to work for me.”

No! Just because trouble follows the Word does not mean you are in the wrong place or that something is inherently wrong with you.

There are troubles that arise in life simply because of the things you choose to believe about God.

In Mark 4:17, the Bible tells us that tribulation and persecution often come because of the Word you have received.

Let this trouble never cause you to draw back. Instead, see it as an opportunity to strengthen your faith in God for what you believe. No matter how much the situation seems to worsen, remain steadfast. Cling to the Word! Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Great trouble can accompany the Word after you have received it. Let this trouble never cause you to draw back. Instead, see it as an opportunity to strengthen your faith in God for what you believe.

FAMILY SERIES: A PRAYING COUPLE

As a couple, it's essential to prioritize prayer in your marriage, not just when challenges arise, but as a proactive way to safeguard the spiritual atmosphere in your home.

In today's world, many couples neglect prayer, leaving their relationship vulnerable to discord and negativity. As husbands and wives, you both have vital roles to play in protecting and nurturing your marriage through prayer.

God has designed marriage as a partnership, with both spouses supporting and uplifting each other. To fulfill this role effectively, both husbands and wives need to cultivate a spirit of intercession, seeking God's guidance and wisdom in their relationship.

When couples pray together, they create a powerful bond that strengthens their union and equips them to face life's challenges. If one spouse is hesitant to pray, the other can continue to pray, trusting in the transformative power of prayer.

As you prioritize prayer in your marriage, you'll experience God's presence and guidance, helping you navigate life's obstacles and build a stronger, more loving relationship.

Hallelujah!

Psalm 138:2 (KJV): I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

GOD’S WORD NEVER FAILS

Everyone who has fully committed themselves to the Word of God has proven its effectiveness. The Word of God never fails because it is the absolute expression of His power. To affirm this truth, God exalted His Word above His own name.

What does this mean?

God’s name represents His identity and nature. For example, when we say Jehovah Jireh, we do not merely mean that He is a provider, but that provision is His very nature. When we say Jehovah Shalom, we are not just referring to the fact that He gives peace, but that peace is His nature.

If His Word is exalted above His name, then for His Word to fail, He must first cease to be Shalom. As Jehovah Jireh, He would have to cease to be a provider for His Word to fail. Literally, this means that God would have to cease to exist for His Word to fail. Such is the integrity of His Word. His Word is not just His bond—it is His very essence.

Can God cease to exist? The answer is no, as such, His Word cannot fail.

For this reason, the Word of God cannot pass away (Matthew 24:35). Everything else in life can be shaken, but not His Word.

Choose to believe Him when He says you are healed. Choose to believe Him when He says you are wealthy. Choose to believe Him when He says you are a success. Choose to believe Him when He says you cannot fail. Choose to believe Him when He says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Choose to believe!

FURTHER STUDY: John 1:1; Joshua 23:14

GOLDEN NUGGET: Choose to believe God when He says you are healed. Choose to believe Him when He says you are wealthy. Choose to believe Him when He says you are a success. Choose to believe Him when He says you cannot fail. Choose to believe Him when He says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Choose to believe!

PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this Word. I have seen and experienced Your faithfulness. You are true, and Your promises can never fail. I have made the choice to believe in You. You fulfill what You have spoken because that is who You are. I will always trust and lean on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
