The last 30D has been a mixed bag.

What I have noticed in that time. I won 100% of my high conviction trades. And lost 100% of my impulse trades.

Even though some of those impulse trades eventually broke even, I didn't wait long enough to be there for that. Because I wasn't sure why I opened them anyway. More like I was gambling. So whenever they entered a loss position, I impulsively closed them to avoid getting stuck in a trade I wasn't sure why I took.

The conviction trades came few and far between and while I waited for them, boredom and a need for adrenaline made it impossible to just sit on my hands and wait.

Moral of this story: Not opening a position is also a position.

I hope to take this lesson into the next 30-60 days although my bias is bullish because of the FTX repayment money that will be entering the market.

In trading, all you need is patience. Never open a trade where your risk of liquidation is realistic. Like if you opened a BTC trade and the liquidation price in $9k. You know that's unrealistic. Even if you're wrong and price moves against you, just sit on your hands, don't give the market your money if you don't have to. Price moves in channels and it'll sooner or later come back to your price.

If you didn't make crazy money from airdrops or other NFTs.

You have no business taking money out of your pocket to trade memes.

Because before you get a 10x, you'll be like 100x down.

It's easier to trade with free money. The people who are aping into every meme out there made the money from other avenues. Then had one lucky break and have been chasing the feeling again since then.

They won't tell you about the losses because it makes them less of a genius than they'll like to present to be.

Don't fall for the hype.

It's most likely the same people rugging you to build up their own portfolio.

Learn how to trade. Resources have been made available since forever on the pinned post. Do the hard thing. You'll also lose money trading, but if you keep at it. You'll find a sweet spot where your bets are 50% correct and you can make money by understanding R:R.

Your meme trades will never be 50-50. That's how the market is designed. It's dominated by grifters using bots to make their tokens look legit.

Unless you know exactly how to tell those projects apart from genuine ones, you'll keep losing money.
