COAL INDIA has revised its policy to allow coal supplies beyond the annual contracted quantity (ACQ) for non-regulated sector (NRS) customers in long-term linkage auctions.

This change, effective from Tranche VIII, will enable NRS customers to procure coal as per their full requirements. Previously, supply was limited to 85% of a plant's capacity.
