Financial Performance:

Cash EBITDA (pre-Ind AS 116): ₹24.5 billion, highest since merger, growing 5.4% QoQ.
Net Loss: ₹66.1 billion in Q3FY25, an improvement from ₹71.8 billion in Q2FY25.
ARPU (ex-M2M): Increased to ₹173, up 4.7% QoQ.
Debt Position: Bank debt reduced to ₹23.3 billion (was ₹76.2 billion in Q3FY24).
Equity Infusion: Raised ₹260 billion over the past 10 months, including:
₹180 billion from a Further Public Offer (FPO).
₹40 billion from Promoter Infusion.
₹40 billion from vendor equity issuance/conversion.
Capex Spend: ₹53.3 billion for the nine months; FY25 target ~₹100 billion.

Operational Highlights:
Subscriber Base: Total 199.8 million, 4G base at 126 million.
4G Expansion: Coverage increased to 1.07 billion people, targeting 1.1 billion by March 2025.
5G Launch: Scheduled for March 2025 in Mumbai, followed by Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, and Patna in April 2025.
Network Enhancement: Added ~4,000 broadband towers, expanded 4G on sub-GHz 900 band across 15,000 sites.

Regulatory & Government Support:
Bank Guarantee Waiver: DoT removed the requirement for BGs for spectrum acquired before 2021, saving ~₹247.5 billion in guarantees.
Debt Conversion Possibility: The company expects AGR and spectrum dues post-moratorium to be converted into equity, reducing cash burden.

Challenges & Future Outlook:
High Debt Levels: Spectrum & AGR payments due till FY2044 remain significant.
Vendor Payables: Some vendors have requested payments, ongoing negotiations.
Profitability Struggles: Still operating at a net loss, but losses have narrowed.

Overall, Vodafone Idea is showing operational improvements with revenue growth, higher ARPU, and network expansion, but financial challenges remain due to high debt and sustained losses. The 5G rollout, continued government support, and further capital infusion will be critical for its turnaround.
