Ans - You can apply chart patterns on any timeframe from 1 min to 12 months you just need practice to train your eyes to identify chart patterns
The simplest of the patterns is Box pattern/ Darvas box which is the mother pattern and all others patterns are made inside the box itself
Its just we have different names to distinguish between them using VCP, CUP& HANDLE, Inverse H&S etc
