Starting Nov 20, 2024, weekly derivatives contracts for BANKNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY & FINNIFTY will be discontinued.

Market regulator SEBI on October 1 announced reduction in expiries of derivatives contract to one exchanger per week
SEBI increased the minimum trading amount for derivatives from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.The new measures for derivative trading will be effective November 20, said SEBI in a circular.
