I am getting too many pings to learn concepts of pair trading because of my 7 years practical experience on this setup
so my first duty is to tell u about risk-
No doubt pair trading is advanced data driven model, rarest to rarest people know this actual ideology ( less than 0.10% in entire indian market )
but it is a mature level setup, gambling mindset or immature mindset people cant handle it successfully and then they can make capital risk.
ideally it is suggested to those people who have minimum 7-8 lacs
although it can be done even in 5 lacs , but ideal is minimum 7lac ( in case if u want to trade in futures
if you want to trade in options 2-3 lacs is ideal capital
but understand, this setup in options requires pre knowledge of theta decay, else u may not be able to deal time decay easily.
about accuracy:
80-90% success rate is very achievable but that 10-20% failure rate is very toxic, it can wipe out ur 7-8 months profit in 1 shot if you dont know refined learnings n tricks for risk filter.
its a market neutral setup, no issue of overnight systematic risk of market. I have practically seen Covid crisis too in this setup in my account, its very neutral
again repeating imp point- if you dont understand the hidden risk only 1 trade can create trouble for you.
hence only mentally stable trader can show ur interest by below mentioned way

( fee is non adjustable non refundable in any case except death within 6 month)
what other things u will get ?
