- We are going to reintroduce the service progressively over the next days, starting with /e/OS Official users on latest versions numbers
- Next week we will push an App Lounge update (for /e/OS > 2.3

Update 18 November

AppLounge anonymous mode has been reopened for all users with only one restriction, the current AppLounge version should be >= 2.10.1.

While we will release the new code with v2.6 (ETA end of November or early December) you can also update App Lounge in these 4 ways:

1. [for /e/OS >= 2.3] From AppLounge update tab. It only works with a valid Google token.
2. [for /e/OS >= 2.3] Clear app cache, login into app lounge with PWA
and open source apps only (you can do this from App Lounge>> settings>> Show application), new App Lounge version will be
listed from update tab. Once installed, user can reuse anonymous token mode.
3. [for /e/OS < 2.3] Install app lounge manually by following our documentation (App Lounge 43).
4. Wait next /e/OS update 2.6 ( ETA end of November or early December).

🇬🇧 Dear everyone,

Thank you for your patience during this outage. We’re working hard to fully restore Murena Workspace. So far, we've re-enabled:

- /e/OS image and OTA downloads
- @e.email/@murena.io email service
- Partial setup of calendar, contacts, webmail, and passwords on murena.io


However, access to files, photos, and videos stored on murena.io is still unavailable.
The delay is due to multiple failed hard drives in our storage cluster, leading to instability. We paused operations to resolve this with advice from a specialist team, who recommended adding new servers and disks to prevent future issues. The necessary hardware is now ordered and should be installed next week.

Once installed, we’ll stabilize the cluster, which may take several weeks. Meanwhile, we're also restoring data from cold backups.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will update you with any major progress.

- /e/OS image et OTA downloads
- Le service de messagerie @e.email/@murena.io
- Configuration partielle du calendrier, des contacts, du webmail et des mots de passe sur murena.io.


Cependant, l'accès aux fichiers, photos et vidéos stockés sur murena.io est toujours indisponible.

Ce retard est dû à la défaillance de plusieurs disques durs dans notre cluster de stockage, ce qui a entraîné une instabilité. Nous avons interrompu les opérations pour résoudre ce problème grâce aux conseils d'une équipe de spécialistes, qui a recommandé d'ajouter de nouveaux serveurs et disques pour éviter de nouveaux problèmes. Le matériel nécessaire a été commandé et devrait être installé la semaine prochaine.

Une fois installé, nous stabiliserons le cluster, ce qui peut prendre plusieurs semaines. Entre-temps, nous restaurons également les données à partir de sauvegardes à froid.

vielen Dank für Ihre Geduld während dieses Ausfalls. Wir arbeiten hart daran, Murena Workspace vollständig wiederherzustellen. Bis jetzt haben wir wieder aktiviert:

- @e.email/@murena.io E-Mail-Dienst
- Teilweise Einrichtung von Kalender, Kontakten, Webmail und Passwörtern auf murena.io

Allerdings ist der Zugriff auf Dateien, Fotos und Videos, die auf murena.io gespeichert sind, immer noch nicht möglich.

Die Verzögerung ist auf mehrere ausgefallene Festplatten in unserem Speichercluster zurückzuführen, was zu Instabilität führt. Wir haben den Betrieb unterbrochen, um dieses Problem mit Hilfe eines Spezialistenteams zu beheben, das empfohlen hat, neue Server und Festplatten hinzuzufügen, um zukünftige Probleme zu vermeiden. Die erforderliche Hardware ist nun bestellt und sollte nächste Woche installiert werden.

Sobald sie installiert ist, werden wir den Cluster stabilisieren, was mehrere Wochen dauern kann. In der Zwischenzeit stellen wir auch die Daten aus Cold Backups wieder her.

We’d like to provide you with a quick update regarding the ongoing murena.io service outage:

– Email: We're working hard to restore service, prioritizing premium accounts first, with a goal of reopening by tonight or tomorrow. For free accounts, the service is expected to resume by Monday afternoon (CEST). Some glitches and interruptions may occur during the first few days of reopening.
– Calendar & Contacts: Access will be restored by Monday afternoon (CEST).
– /e/OS OTA updates: /e/OS 2.4.1 update is available for all devices, as well as installation images, and it will be released to 100% of users by Monday.
– ETA for all other contents (files/pictures/videos) at murena.io is still uncertain as the relying infrastructure is not yet fully fixed and because each maintenance action on very large data volumes take a lot of time. We expect to provide an ETA beginning of next week.

Für kostenlose Konten wird erwartet, dass der Dienst bis Montagnachmittag (CEST) wieder aufgenommen wird. In den ersten Tagen nach der Wiedereröffnung können einige Störungen und Unterbrechungen auftreten.
– Kalender & Kontakte: Der Zugriff wird bis Montagnachmittag (CEST) wiederhergestellt.
– /e/OS OTA-Updates: Das /e/OS 2.4.1-Update ist für alle Geräte verfügbar, ebenso wie Installationsbilder, und es wird bis Montag an 100 % der Nutzer ausgeliefert.
– Die geschätzte Zeit für alle anderen Inhalte (Dateien/Bilder/Videos) auf murena.io ist noch ungewiss, da die zugrunde liegende Infrastruktur noch nicht vollständig repariert ist und jede Wartungsmaßnahme bei sehr großen Datenmengen viel Zeit in Anspruch nimmt.
