Indian Energy Exchange

The electricity exchange achieved an electricity traded volume of 9,689 MU in November, showing a 15.7% year-on-year increase. PSP Projects

Adani Infra (India), the PMC subsidiary of Adani Group, has signed definitive agreements to acquire up to a 30.07% stake in PSP Projects from the existing promoter, Prahladbhai S Patel, for Rs 685.4 crore. Currently, Prahladbhai S Patel and his family own a 60.14% stake in the company. Adani Infra has also announced an open offer to buy up to an additional 26% stake in PSP at a price of Rs 642.06 per share, for Rs 661.8 crore.

Tata Power Company

The company has entered into a strategic partnership with Druk Green Power Corporation (the sole generation utility of Bhutan) to collaborate and develop at least 5,000 MW of clean energy generation capacity in Bhutan. BSNL had invited tenders for the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle-mile network of the BharatNet Phase-3 project under a design, build, operate, and maintain (DBOM) model.

Tera Software

The company in partnership with ITI as a consortium partner, has participated in the bids for the BharatNet Phase-3 project. The company has been declared the successful bidder to establish an inter-state transmission system in Rajasthan. It has received a Letter of Intent for the said project, which comprises the establishment of a new 765/400kV Siwani substation along with STATCOM and other equipment, a 765kV D/C transmission line traversing Rajasthan and Haryana, and various 400kV D/C transmission lines traversing through Haryana, along with bay extension works for the above lines at other existing substations in Rajasthan and Haryana.
