Update: No setups today as the range is wide and we're past my personal trading session time. After the news release, we needed a larger retracement for a potential long setup, but it didn’t give us one. As you know, if we don’t have an A+ setup, we don’t take it.

This week might still be a bit choppy, as the US market is closed tomorrow, and Friday is NFP. I’ll still be actively watching for setups. After NFP, the market should return to its usual rhythm. ⚡️👍

Currently, we have two areas of interest with liquidity: one at the top and one at the bottom. The Million Moves Algo V-Lines are perfectly showing the range.

In the screenshot, you can see my planned setup. We took out the low at the GU UP, which made the planned setup invalid; otherwise, it would have been a long setup once we broke 2652. Now, we need to wait for a further drop, ideally taking out the area around 2642. With high-impact news in 45 minutes, which is too close, and the FOMC meeting later, we’ll need to see if we get a proper setup today.

Hi everyone! ☀️ In total, we achieved 144 winning trades and 22 losses, resulting in an impressive win rate of 86.75% for the year 2024.

At the start of the year, I adopted a more aggressive approach with my balance, gradually reducing risk later while maintaining consistent gains each month. However, for beginners, I recommend keeping your risk per trade at no more than 5% of your balance. This means that if your stop-loss (SL) is hit, you won't lose more than 5% of your total balance. To calculate the risk per trade, use a risk management indicator for MetaTrader.

Slowly, we're approaching the end of the year, and there was no entry today. After the London open, we had sideways movement with low volume, followed by a fake-out. The price then returned to the range, and as we got closer to high-impact news, it wasn’t an ideal time to trade.

I’ll share a schedule soon for when we will resume trading and also post a sheet with all my trades this year, showing both wins and losses. See you later!

Quick update: I had a Sell setup forming 5 minutes before high-impact news, but I don’t trade that close to news as it’s too unpredictable and volatile. It can move $20 either way. After the news, it dropped hard, and the range got too big for a proper entry. We only take a trade when everything aligns and never chase. I’ll see you tomorrow! ⚡️
