Btw, I missed something. Looks like MAL tracking won't work right now due to some API limit issues. I think the Mihon team is working on it, but in the meanwhile, let's be patient :)

Sorry for any delays in updates. Life happens.

I could automate everything to be on time. I am a software engineer after all lol. But I'd rather not. I want anyone using this channel to kind of be able to get warnings for major changes in upcoming updates and stuff in a more easy-to-follow manner before they update.

This is especially important in cases like the time when Tachiyomi literally died or when the extensions system changed.

Yes, this is basically just an unofficial channel for releases, but I don't want it to be truly just a channel for Mihon APKs either.

If you simply want on-time updates, Mihon itself has an update checker or you could follow the project on GitHub or you could subscribe to the RSS feed for Mihon's releases.

I just switched to Mihon. Going well so far. 😁

Some issues I had in the earlier release, like AniList login not working and extensions not being fetched from the repository, seem to have been fixed.

You can do a backup from Tachiyomi and import the same into Mihon. You might want to login to your trackers first before importing though, as that used to break often in Tachiyomi.

I would personally suggest not to switch to Mihon yet, but instead, keep it installed and wait for this transition period to pass. And then, use the backup and restore functionality once everything is looking good.
