This is MEVerse Team.

MEVerse team has carried out updates such as algorithm improvement, node stabilization, and MEVerse scan’s function enhancement throughout 2024, and in order to secure onboarding projects under MEVerse mainnet and maintain tokenomics, we have implemented three types of P2E game services, including Pocket Battles: NFT War, and have been working on the development of the new game “MEVerse Holdem” with ME2On group. In addition, in relation to the establishment of legal regulations to revitalize the STO market, which is being actively discussed, R&D was conducted to enable new STO projects using MEVerse mainnet to be launched at any time.

The last year of the MEVerse Mainnet mining has ended.

It ended on July 31, 2024, at around 12:00 am and 9,999,857.49 MEV that were mined in the past year were burned (Burn tx: https://www.meversescan.io/tx/0x4248f5b62f5a1d767ca03876966968810a002540f0b1d07d61a3b799c69cac0a)

This will make 2 billion MEV in total supply, and allow Formulator NFT holders to participate in upcoming governance functions and generator nodes.

The first governance proposal will be proposed sometime in August, and Formulator NFT holders will be able to vote.

지난 5년 동안 진행되었던 포뮬레이터 정책에 대해 안내 드립니다.

2019년 7월부터 시작된 포뮬레이터 정책은 포뮬레이터들이 노드가 되어 메인넷 생태계에 기여하고 그에 따른 블록 보상을 받는 정책으로써 5년간의 채굴계획을 가지고 시작되었습니다.

5년간의 채굴보상은 기존 3억 6천만 개에서 1억 6천만 개로 하향조정 되었으며, 기존 인플레이션 구조에서 추가 발행 없이 재단 Reserve 할당에서 충당하여 운영되었습니다.

이에, 총 발행량 20억 개에서 추가 발행 없이(사후 소각) 채굴보상이 지급되었으며 다가오는 7월 31일 약 16시 30분(자세한 시간은 추후 공지예정)을 끝으로 포뮬레이터 채굴이 종료될 예정입니다.

포뮬레이터 NFT는 포뮬레이터 채굴이 종료된 후에도 메인넷 기여를 증명하는 NFT로써 거버넌스 및 제너레이터 노드 운영 등 앞으로의 메인넷 운영에도 기여할 수 있습니다. 포뮬레이터 NFT의 사용처는 다음과 같습니다.

1. 거버넌스 주요 정책 제안 및 투표권 행사

포뮬레이터 NFT 보유자들은 지난 5년간 메인넷 생태계에 노드로써 기여를 했으며 이에 따라 거버넌스 포럼에서의 정책 제안 및 투표권 행사가 가능해집니다. 거버넌스 기능은 미버스 덱스(www.meversedex.io)에 추가되며, 포뮬레이터 NFT를 보유하고 있는 유저분들께서는 10,000 MEV를 소모하여 거버넌스 정책 제안을 하실 수 있습니다.

소모된 MEV 코인은 거버넌스 정책이 통과될 경우 다시 반환되며 이 정책은 무분별한 정책 제안을 제한하기 위함입니다.

시그마, 오메가 포뮬레이터 NFT 홀더분들 께서는 거버넌스 정책 제안 및 투표를, 알파 포뮬레이터 NFT 홀더분들은 투표를 진행하실 수 있게될 예정입니다.

2. 제너레이터 노드 운영 권한 부여

미버스 메인넷은 제너레이터 노드, 시드 노드, 퍼블릭 노드, 옵저버 노드, 브릿지 노드로 구성되어 있으며, 제너레이터 노드는 블록생성을 담당합니다. 포뮬레이터 NFT 보유자들은 제너레이터 노드를 운영할 수 있는 권한을 가지게 되며, 제너레이터 노드 구성을 위한 안내사항은 미버스 개발 Docs에서 확인하실 수 있습니다. (https://meversedex.gitbook.io/meverse-dev-docs/v/meverse-dev-docs-kr)

Here is a guide to the formulator policy that has been operated over the past five years.

The formulator policy, which began in July 2019, started with a five-year mining plan as a policy in which Formulators become nodes, contribute to the mainnet ecosystem and receive block compensation accordingly.

The five-year mining compensation was downgraded to 160 million from 360 million, and operated from the foundation Reserve allocation without additional issuance in the existing inflation structure.

As a result, mining rewards has been distributed without additional minting from the total supply of 2 billion, and formulator mining will end at 7:30 UTC on July 31st.

Formulator NFTs are NFTs that prove mainnet contributions even after formulator mining has ended, and can also contribute to future mainnet operations, such as governance and generator node operations. Formulator NFT use cases are as follows.

1. Governance Proposals and Voting Rights

Formulator NFT holders have contributed as nodes to the Mainnet ecosystem over the past five years, which will allow them to make governance proposals and vote their rights at governance forum. Governance features will be added to MEVerse Dex (www.meversedex.io), and users with Formulator NFTs can spend 10,000 MEVs to make governance policy proposals.

The consumed MEV coins will be returned if the governance policy is passed and this policy is intended to limit reckless policy proposals.

Sigma, Omega Formulator holders will be able to create governance proposals and proceed with voting, and Alpha Formulator can vote to the proposals.

2. Privilege to Operate Generator Node

MEVerse Mainnet consists of a generator node, a seed node, a public node, an observer node, and a bridge node, which is responsible for creating blocks. Formulator NFT holders will have the privilege to operate the generator node, and instructions for configuring the generator node can be found at MEVerse Development Docs.
